[But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.]
While I was reading today i had to ponder upon this verse. So many things that one may interpret from just few words.
The first thing that could come to our minds is to praise the lord in his wisdom and careful planning that he in his divinity has sent his son to save us humans who cling to the world that we live in despite its hopeless situation.
The world that we live in today is a world of sin. Day after day we see and hear all the terrible things happening around us yet somehow we sin over and over.
At some point you would be surprised how some are proud of their sins instead of going home, holding on to the holy bible and read and pray till they can no more. Yet many don't (myself included) the slavery of sin is hard and only god can set us free.
Pray for me, my brothers in faith for the lord to help me break free from all the temptations of this world. Pray for me so that the lord would receive me in his kingdom because i once didn't believe in him. Pray for all the christians who are persecuted in middle east, Africa and all over the world.
