Day One · Genesis 16:1–6

Nobody asked what she wanted
Hagar was Sarai's Egyptian servant — used to produce the child Sarai couldn't have, and then mistreated so severely once she conceived that she fled into the wilderness alone, with nothing.

She was valued for what she could provide, and pushed out the moment she wasn't convenient.

Mum tips
Name what is making you feel invisible. Hagar's story starts with real mistreatment — don't minimise your own.
Say the hard sentence out loud, even if only to God: "I am being used here."
Reflection
Where in your life right now do you feel unseen — at home, at work, in your family, or your friendships?

Day Two · 1 Peter 5:6–7

Valued for what you can give
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you."

Not the people using you. Not the ones dismissing you. God, specifically, cares about what happens to you.

Hand the weight over in plain words — no formal prayer required.
Notice where you have been performing usefulness to earn a place.
