Blessed are those who keep his testimonies. Who seek him with their whole heart". Psalms 119:1-2 NKJV The matter of obedience is very important to God and the issues of life here on earth and in eternity. And so, even His only begotten Son, our LORD Jesus, the Bible says that '.. he learned obedience through what he suffered.' (Hebrews 5:8 ESV). Obedience is the hallmark of our salvation. Although we are saved by grace through the redemptive work of the LORD Jesus at the Cross; it is our obedience that sets us apart as authentic children of God. Obedience is our way of showing God that we love Him; and it is through our obedience that God recognises us and enables us to enjoy His Love.
