Need to know.
We are living in a generation that celebrates what God calls sin and attacks what God calls good. Things that were once recognized as wrong are now praised and encouraged, while those who stand on biblical truth are often labeled hateful, intolerant, or extreme. Yet none of this should surprise us. Nearly 2,700 years ago, the prophet Isaiah warned about a time like this when he wrote, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20).

This is far more than a cultural problem—it is a spiritual one. The word “woe” is a serious warning of God’s judgment. Isaiah’s message shows just how dangerous it is when people reject God’s standards and replace them with their own. A society does not become better by redefining sin; it becomes more deceived. Sin does not become right because it is popular, accepted, or celebrated. God’s truth remains the same no matter what the culture says.

Isaiah’s warning speaks directly to our world today. Everywhere we look, people are being told that truth is whatever they want it to be. But God has never changed His definition of right and wrong. As believers, we are called to stand firmly on His Word and speak the truth with both courage and love. The world may try to rewrite morality, but it cannot change the standards of the One who created us and before whom every person will one day stand.
