  • Canadian officials proceeded with lethal injection after an 83-year-old grandmother stayed silent
An 83-year-old Christian grandmother who had already rejected assisted suicide was euthanized under Canada’s MAiD program after her family says she never gave the required final verbal consent.
Brigitte Stegemann, known to her family as GG, lived at The Pearl long-term care facility in Belleville, Ontario, and had been diagnosed with untreatable Stage IV stomach cancer five months earlier.
Two months before her death she clearly told staff she did not want Medical Assistance in Dying because it violated her Christian faith and she wanted to die naturally.
While her granddaughter, who held legal power of attorney and had advocated for her for more than 12 years, was away on a 10-day vacation, facility staff reopened the conversation privately without informing the family.
Stegemann was completely deaf in one ear and could hear only minimally in the other, and she was frequently lethargic and unresponsive.
During formal assessments on July 6th and 7th she gave incorrect answers to basic questions, saying she had no siblings even though she was the second-youngest of 14 children, and claiming none of her siblings were still alive when some were and she had spoken with one the previous week.
She became disoriented, cried, and confused her surviving siblings with her great-grandchildren.
The family corrected most of her answers and challenged the physician on how she could be declared capable.
The doctor still ruled her capable of consenting, ordered the family out of the room, and scheduled the procedure for July 10th.
Staff later admitted the death date had been set before the official paperwork was finished, and facility employees completed and witnessed the forms themselves.
Officials even tried to move the injection forward by a full day to fit the physician’s schedule.
On the morning of July 10th, the family took Stegemann outside for fresh air and gave her a scoop of her favorite strawberry ice cream while waiting for her pastor, as she had requested.
After staff inserted an intravenous line that left blood on her bedding and surroundings, the physician arrived.
The family had been assured she would have to give explicit verbal confirmation immediately beforehand, yet Stegemann remained silent with her hands held in a prayer position.
The clinical team administered the lethal injection anyway.
Her relatives say they were left alarmed and horrified.
They accuse the system of clinical arrogance, secrecy, and a total lack of transparency, describing her death in their public statement as a systemic failure driven by a blatant disregard for the safeguards meant to protect vulnerable patients.
They point out that she had already said no because of her faith, yet staff reopened the subject while her longtime advocate was away, excluded her power of attorney from critical discussions, and proceeded despite her silence at the final moment.
The family is now demanding accountability and asking how an elderly, hearing-impaired woman who could not correctly identify her own family was deemed capable of consenting to her own death.
By April 2026 more than 100,000 Canadians had already died under the MAiD system.
This case shows how protections can collapse for the elderly, hearing-impaired, and cognitively fragile.
Canada’s MAiD program has grown increasingly predatory, expanding far beyond its original limits and routinely placing pressure on the most vulnerable.

    1 Kings 21

    The God Who Sees Injustice

1 Kings 21 records one of the darkest moments in Ahab's reign and demonstrates the devastating effects of unchecked greed and abuse of authority. The chapter begins with Ahab desiring Naboth's vineyard because it lies near his palace. Naboth respectfully refuses to sell or exchange the land because it is part of the inheritance God had given his family. His decision is not stubbornness but faithfulness to the Lord's covenant concerning the land.

Instead of respecting Naboth's obedience, Ahab becomes resentful and childish. He allows disappointment to control his heart rather than submitting his desires to God. His weakness opens the door for Jezebel, who devises a wicked plan to obtain the vineyard through false accusations and the murder of an innocent man. The abuse of political power, corruption of justice, and disregard for God's law reveal how far Israel's leadership has drifted from the Lord.

Although Ahab and Jezebel believe they have succeeded, God has witnessed every act of injustice. The Lord sends Elijah to confront Ahab directly. Elijah boldly declares God's judgment upon Ahab's house because of his deliberate rebellion and oppression of the innocent. The chapter reminds us that no act of injustice escapes God's attention. He is the righteous Judge who sees what others overlook.

Surprisingly, when Ahab hears God's judgment, he humbles himself. His repentance is incomplete, and it does not erase the consequences of his sin, yet God notices even this limited humility. In His mercy, the Lord delays part of the judgment until the next generation. Once again, God's justice is balanced by His compassion. He is always willing to respond to genuine humility, even when consequences remain.
Theologically, 1 Kings 21 reveals God's unwavering commitment to justice. He defends the innocent, confronts the abuse of power, and holds leaders accountable for how they treat others. The chapter also demonstrates that repentance matters. While it may not remove every earthly consequence, humility before God always matters to Him.

This chapter points to Christ, the perfectly righteous King who always defends the oppressed and judges with complete justice. Unlike Ahab, Jesus never used His authority for personal gain but laid down His life for others. He identifies with those who suffer injustice and promises that ultimate justice will be established through His eternal kingdom.

For believers today, 1 Kings 21 reminds us to guard our hearts against greed, envy, and selfish ambition. We are called to pursue justice, treat others with integrity, and remember that God sees every act of righteousness and every act of injustice. In Christ, we are called to reflect His compassion, humility, and commitment to truth, trusting that He will ultimately make all things right.

    1 Kings 22

The Importance of Hearing and Obeying God's Word

1 Kings 22 concludes the book with a powerful contrast between those who seek God's approval and those who merely seek favorable answers. Ahab joins Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, in considering a military campaign to reclaim Ramoth Gilead. Before proceeding, Jehoshaphat wisely asks whether they have sought the counsel of the Lord.

Ahab gathers hundreds of prophets who unanimously predict success. Their message is encouraging, but it lacks truth. Jehoshaphat senses that something is missing and asks whether there is still a true prophet of the Lord. Ahab reluctantly summons Micaiah, admitting that he dislikes him because Micaiah never tells him what he wants to hear.

Micaiah faithfully delivers God's message despite intense pressure to conform. He reveals that Israel's victory has not been ordained and warns Ahab of impending judgment. His courage demonstrates that a true servant of God speaks truth even when it is unpopular. Micaiah values faithfulness to God above acceptance by people.

Ahab rejects the warning and proceeds with the battle anyway. Hoping to avoid the prophecy, he disguises himself while allowing Jehoshaphat to wear his royal robes. Yet no human strategy can prevent the fulfillment of God's Word. A seemingly random arrow strikes Ahab exactly as God had declared. His death fulfills Elijah's earlier prophecy, proving once again that God's Word never fails.
The chapter closes with the reign of Jehoshaphat in Judah, whose heart generally remains devoted to the Lord despite some unwise alliances. It also introduces Ahaziah, who follows the sinful example of his father Ahab. The contrast between faithful and unfaithful leadership continues, setting the stage for the ministry of Elijah and Elisha in the chapters ahead.

Theologically, 1 Kings 22 emphasizes the absolute reliability of God's Word. Human opinion, political influence, and popular consensus can never replace divine truth. The chapter also demonstrates that rejecting God's Word never changes its certainty. God's purposes are accomplished exactly as He declares.

This chapter points to Christ, the perfect Prophet, Priest, and King. Jesus always spoke the truth of the Father, even when people rejected Him because of it. Unlike the false prophets who told people what they wanted to hear, Christ proclaimed the truth that leads to life. He is the living Word of God, completely trustworthy and worthy of complete obedience.

For believers today, 1 Kings 22 reminds us to value God's truth above personal preference or popular opinion. We should seek faithful biblical counsel rather than merely looking for voices that confirm what we already want to do. In Christ, we have the perfect revelation of God's will. As we listen to His Word and obey it faithfully, we build our lives upon a foundation that will never fail.

2 Corinthians 8 — The Grace of Generous Giving Through the Christ

2 Corinthians chapter 8 shifts the focus to the grace of giving, revealing that generosity is not primarily about finances but about the work of the Christ, the Son of God, in the believer's heart. Paul presents giving as an act of worship that flows naturally from understanding God's redemptive plan. The generosity of believers becomes a visible demonstration of the transforming grace they have received through the Christ.

The chapter begins by pointing to the example of other believers whose generosity was remarkable despite experiencing severe hardship themselves. Their circumstances did not prevent them from giving because their generosity was rooted in the grace of God rather than in material abundance. This reveals an important principle of Christian living: true generosity is measured by the heart's devotion to the Christ, not by the size of one's resources.

Paul explains that these believers first gave themselves to the Lord before giving anything else. This is the foundation of all Christian stewardship. The redemptive plan calls believers to complete surrender, and financial generosity is simply one expression of a life already yielded to the Son of God. When the heart belongs fully to the Christ, every other area of life naturally follows.

The chapter then directs attention to the greatest example of generosity ever displayed. The Christ, the Son of God, willingly left the riches of heaven and humbled Himself for the sake of humanity. Through His sacrifice, those who were spiritually bankrupt have become rich in His grace. This is the heart of the redemptive plan. Every act of Christian generosity finds its motivation in the self-giving love of the Christ.

Paul encourages the Corinthians not merely to begin well but to complete what they had purposed to do. Christian living is marked by faithful obedience, not simply good intentions. The Lord values willing hearts that follow through with joyful commitment. Generosity becomes an opportunity to demonstrate spiritual maturity and gratitude for the grace already received.

Another important principle presented is that God looks first at willingness rather than comparison. The value of a gift is not determined by its size but by the heart from which it is given. The Son of God never calls believers to give beyond what He has entrusted to them but calls them to be faithful with what they have. The redemptive plan produces cheerful, willing generosity rather than reluctant obligation.
The chapter also emphasizes equality and mutual care within the body of Christ. Those whom God has blessed with greater resources have the opportunity to meet the needs of others, demonstrating the unity that exists within His family. Christian living reflects the compassion of the Christ, who continually cares for His people through the generosity of fellow believers.

Paul also highlights the importance of integrity in handling financial matters. Careful accountability is established so that everything is conducted honorably before both God and people. This reminds believers that faithfulness includes transparency and wisdom. The work of the Christ should never be hindered by careless stewardship or questionable practices.

Throughout the chapter, generosity is consistently connected to grace. Believers do not give to earn God's favor but because they have already received His immeasurable grace through the Son of God. Every gift becomes an act of worship that reflects the character of the Christ and advances His redemptive plan.

The chapter concludes with confidence in faithful servants who share this same heart for God's work. Their commitment demonstrates that ministry flourishes when believers serve with integrity, generosity, and genuine love for the Christ and His people.

2 Corinthians 8 teaches that generous giving is one of the clearest expressions of a life transformed by the grace of the Christ. The Son of God gave everything for our redemption, and those who belong to Him joyfully respond by offering themselves and their resources for His glory.

For believers today, this chapter calls us to view generosity through the lens of the gospel. Christian living begins with giving ourselves fully to the Christ and then allowing His grace to shape every area of our lives. We are reminded that generosity is not measured by amount but by willingness, not by abundance but by love. As we follow the example of the Son of God, who gave Himself completely for us, we become faithful stewards of His blessings and active participants in His redemptive plan, bringing glory to Him through joyful and sacrificial giving.

  • Continuation chapter 3 3.1
The book of Proverbs, that ancient collection of wisdom and one-liners, gives us the antidote: "A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back." (Proverbs 29:11). A fool gives full vent. He opens the valve and lets the emotional steam blast out in every direction, scorching everyone in the vicinity, and then he calls it "transparency." The wise man, on the other hand, holds it back—not to suppress it forever, but to examine it first. He looks at the cake and says, "Before I serve this to everyone and insist it's from God, let me check the ingredients. Was this anger baked with love, or was it fried in last week's resentment? Was this righteous fury, or am I just tired and hungry and someone looked at me funny?" The wise man puts a pause between the feeling and the action. The fool just hits "send" on the email he wrote while the emotion was still a fresh, steaming loaf of nonsense.

‎Now, the truly spectacular part of this whole theatrical production is that the illusions are not random. They have a specific purpose. They are designed—by you, for you—to protect your fragile ego from the unbearable truth that you might be wrong, or selfish, or in need of genuine change. The illusion is a bodyguard hired by your pride. It stands at the door of your consciousness and says, "No, you can't come in here with that nonsense about humility and repentance. This person is a victim! A hero! A misunderstood prophet!" And the emotion that the illusion generates is the bodyguard's paycheck. As long as you stay angry, the bodyguard stays employed. As long as you feel sorry for yourself, the bodyguard gets a bonus. As long as you're right and they're wrong, the bodyguard gets a corner office with a view.

‎So how do you fire the bodyguard? How do you shut down the bake-off and stop eating the emotional cake that's making you spiritually obese? You do the one thing the illusion absolutely cannot survive: you laugh at it. Not a bitter, cynical laugh. A genuine, delighted, "oh my goodness, I've done it again, I actually convinced myself that my indigestion was a prophetic word" kind of laugh. You step back from the emotion and say, "There goes my heart again, being deceitful above all things. What a rascal. What a brilliant little con artist. Look at it go, spinning that same old story about how I'm the victim and they're the villain. It's almost adorable, like a hamster trying to operate a forklift." And when you laugh, the illusion loses its power. It cannot thrive in the light of genuine, humble humor. It needs you to take it seriously. It needs you to believe the drama. The moment you chuckle, the whole set collapses, and you see the strings and the plywood and the guy in the back operating the smoke machine.

‎King David, who was no stranger to emotional chaos—the man once danced nearly naked in public and also wrote some of the most anguished poetry in history—had a habit of talking to his own soul. He would say, "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God." (Psalm 42:5). Notice what he's doing. He's not taking his downcast soul on a road trip of despair. He's interrogating it. He's cross-examining the witness. "Why are you downcast? Give me a reason. Is it a good reason, or did you just eat bad spiritual pizza again?" He's refusing to let the emotion drive the bus without showing its license. And then he redirects the soul to hope in God. Not to hope in the resolution of the immediate problem, not to hope in being proven right, but to hope in the character of the Almighty. That's not suppression; that's redirection. That's saying to the emotional cake, "Thank you for your submission, but I'm on a diet of actual truth now."
Continuation chapter 3 3.1 The book of Proverbs, that ancient collection of wisdom and one-liners, gives us the antidote: "A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back." (Proverbs 29:11). ‎ ‎Now, the truly spectacular part of this whole theatrical production is that the illusions are not random. ‎ ‎So how do you fire the bodyguard? ‎ ‎King David, who was no stranger to emotional chaos—the man once danced nearly naked in public and also wrote some of the most anguished poetry in history—had a habit of talking to his own soul. That's saying to the emotional cake, "Thank you for your submission, but I'm on a diet of actual truth now." ‎

  • Why LiveGood Is DESTROYING The Old MLM Model

The MLM Industry Needed a Revolution... And It Finally Got One
For decades, network marketing has had a dirty little secret:

Products made for $5, sold for $60

Only the top 1% got rich while everyone else struggled to break even.

    LiveGood just said "ENOUGH."

HERE'S HOW THEY'RE FLIPPING THE SCRIPT:
    PRICING TRANSPARENCY
Old MLM: $99 for greens that cost $8 to make
LiveGood: $19.95 for premium greens (vs competitors' $69-$99)

Translation: Products priced just above production cost – NOT marked up 500-1000%

    REAL VALUE FOR MEMBERS
Old MLM: You're a "distributor" but really just a forced customer
LiveGood: $9.95/month membership = ACCESS to wholesale pricing

You actually SAVE money even if you never refer a soul

    AFFORDABLE ENTRY
Old MLM: $200-500 starter kits + monthly quotas
    LiveGood: $40 ONE-TIME affiliate fee

That's it. For LIFE. No annual renewals. No hidden fees.

    9 INCOME STREAMS
Old MLM: Complicated rank requirements, monthly quotas, pressure
LiveGood: Matrix 2x15, Fast Start bonuses, Matching bonuses, Diamond pools...

The compensation plan actually WORKS for the average person

    THE TIMING FACTOR
    Here's what nobody's talking about:

Over 2 MILLION members in just a few years

    Vision: 50 MILLION members

Every person who joins TODAY will be above millions of future members in the matrix.

This is what "ground floor" actually looks like.

    THE FOUNDER'S PROMISE:
"The days of selling overpriced products are over." – Nauder Khazan, Director of Field Development

This isn't just marketing talk. It's the entire business philosophy.

    LET'S TALK GROWTH TRAJECTORY:
    +$100M in commissions paid out
+50 premium products (with MORE launching)
    #1 Fastest Growing MLM Company
    90-Day Money-Back Guarantee
    GMP & USDA Certified
    Made in USA

    THE BOTTOM LINE:
Old MLM Model: "How many friends can I pressure into buying overpriced products?"

LiveGood Model: "Who WOULDN'T want premium supplements at wholesale prices?"

    THE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE:
"Nobody's going to pay $60 for a supplement when they can get the best on the market for $19.95."

"Once you see LiveGood, you can't unsee it."

And THAT'S why this is spreading like wildfire.

    WHY NOW MATTERS:
Global reach – Build a team ANYWHERE
Economic shift – People want quality WITHOUT the price tag
No real competition at this quality + price combo
Perfect timing – Get above millions who will join later

    THE REAL QUESTION:
    Are you IN or OUT?

Wait = Lose your position, fall below others, keep overpaying

Act TODAY = Lock in your spot, save money, build income

    READY TO JOIN THE REVOLUTION?
    Step 1: $9.95/month membership Step 2: $40 one-time affiliate fee Step 3: Start earning + saving

    scancotech.com/tour

FREE training, tools, and support included!

This isn't just another MLM. This is the DISRUPTION the industry desperately needed.
