When you gave your life to Christ, the old you was put to death, and now your true self is found in Him. This means your worth, security, and purpose are no longer tied to earthly things but are hidden in Christ, protected and unshakable. Because you are hidden in Him, the pressures of this world—people’s opinionsor even your own doubts and failures—do not define you. When God looks at you, He sees His Son covering you, making you righteous, redeemed, and loved. This truth gives you freedom: you don’t have to strive to prove yourself or fear rejection. Instead, you can live confidently, knowing your life is fully secured in the hands of Christ.

This is what the holy spirit has shown me that i need to work on. And let me tell you it is challenging. But It is a good challenging though. Controlling the tongue can be challenging, *Biblical Tips* 1. *Pray for self-control*: Ask God to help you control your tongue (James 1:26, Psalm 141:3). 2. *Let God's Word transform you*: Meditate on Scripture, and let it renew your mind (Romans 12:2, Psalm 119:11). 3. *Practice humility*: Recognize that your words have power, and humble yourself before God (James 4:6-10). *Practical Tips* 1. *Pause before speaking*: Take a moment to think before responding (Proverbs 10:19, 17:27). 2. *Listen more, speak less*: Focus on listening actively, and speak only when necessary (James 1:19). 3. *Use positive language*: Speak kindly, and focus on uplifting others (Ephesians 4:29-31). 4. *Avoid gossip*: Refrain from sharing unnecessary or hurtful information about others (Proverbs 16:28, 26:20). 5. *Seek accountability*: Surround yourself with people who encourage and support you in speaking kindly (Proverbs 27:17). Remember, controlling the tongue is a process that takes time, effort, and prayer. May God guide and empower you to speak life-giving words!
