#SundayReflection01 Let's pray for grace for 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞, not just for people we like or people whom we think are good. In today's generation, it is hard to extend grace to the people who offend us, and it is biblical. 2 Timothy 1-5 lays it out: 𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠, 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑠𝑡 𝑑𝑎𝑦𝑠, 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑙𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒: 2 𝐹𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑒𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑣𝑒𝑠, 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑦, 𝑏𝑜𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑠, 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅, 𝑏𝑙𝑎𝑠𝑝ℎ𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑠, 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑜𝑏𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠, 𝑢𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑘𝑓𝑢𝑙, 𝑢𝑛ℎ𝑜𝑙𝑦, 3 𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑠𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑟𝑠, 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓-𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑙, 𝒃𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒂𝒍, 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑, 4 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑠, ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑔, 𝒉𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒚, 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑝𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑟𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑛 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐺𝑜𝑑, 5 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝒈𝒐𝒅𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓. ...but Jesus commanded us in Matthew 5:44: 𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝐼 𝑠𝑎𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢, 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑒𝑠, 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢, 𝑑𝑜 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜 ℎ𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑎𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑓𝑢𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢... P.S. This is not me posing myself as holier than others. My character is much worse. But God is so good that He extended grace after grace to me whenever I stumble. If He was ever so patient with me, then He is no doubt patient and gracious with all of us.
