I recently read Keys for Men by Myles Munroe, and it really challenged me as a man. One powerful lesson from the book is about identity. Many men are searching for identity in success, money, or people’s approval. But true identity is found in God, our Creator. When a man understands who he is in God, he begins to live with purpose, confidence, and responsibility. I highly recommend this book to every man who wants to grow and understand his true identity.

God’s Loving Deeds Scripture: “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.” Psalm 107:2 Devotion: God’s love isn’t just something we experience quietly it’s meant to be shared. Every time He helps, protects, or restores, it becomes a story of His goodness. This week, notice His loving deeds in your life and share them with others. Your story can encourage someone else to trust Him too.

Just like the boy’s lunch, your time, talents, and heart can do amazing things when placed in God’s hands. Don’t underestimate what God can do with you, no matter how little you think you have.

God calls us not to live in the past whether past mistakes, pain, or even former victories. He invites us to trust Him for something new. This week, choose to release what has been and look ahead with faith, knowing God is at work ahead of you.

Subject: October Mission Update “The Mission Into Africa by God” (Oct 17–19) Preheader: A brief update from Dennis Gitonga — Eldoret conference highlights, weekly lessons, and prayer requests. Dear friends and supporters, Warm greetings in the name of Jesus! I’m so thankful for each of you who continues to pray for me and support my journey of faith. Your prayers, encouragement, and love mean so much and remind me that we are partners together in God’s mission. Eldoret Conference (October 17–19) In October I traveled to Eldoret for the Mission Into Africa by God conference at the Reformed Church of East Africa. The theme came from Zechariah 10:5 — “They shall fight, because the LORD is with them.” It was a powerful time of renewal and vision. Highlights: • Hope for Africa (Mr. Okike): God restores His people through humility, prayer, and faith. • Morning Devotion (Sir Alex): David & Goliath — private victories prepare us for public mission. • Workshop — Mission & Community: The Church (Ekklesia) is a movement, called to be witnesses to the world. The conference closed with a commissioning service — a beautiful time of surrender as we declared, “Here am I, Lord — send me.” I left Eldoret encouraged and ready to live out my calling wherever God leads. 📖 Growing Through the Word (October) Throughout October I continued weekly lessons on Wednesdays, studying Listening to Jesus and Find My Place. Praise God! My name is Dennis Gitonga, I am 24 years old, born again, and I fellowship at Deliverance Church Kinoo. I grew up in a Christian family, but I didn’t have a personal relationship with God. I struggled with pornography, anger, low self-esteem, and felt unloved, especially because of challenges with meningitis as a child and dyslexia in school. On 9th October 2021, during a youth event called Inside Out in Kawangware, I gave my life to Christ. From that day, I experienced God’s genuine love for the first time. I began to accept myself and discovered that God has a plan and purpose for me. By His grace, I have been free from pornography for 3 years, 11 months, and 18 days. My thoughts and words are now positive, rooted in what the Bible says about me. I thank God for saving and transforming my life. All the glory belongs to Him
