# Be the Light He Called You to Be

Good morning, everyone!

Somewhere today, someone is sitting in darkness. Not the darkness of night, but the darkness of despair, confusion, fear, or hopelessness. They're drowning in doubt. They're lost. They're looking for a reason to believe that things can get better.

And God is asking you to be their light.

Matthew 5:14-16 says, "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

You were not called to hide. You were not called to dim your light so others feel comfortable in their darkness. You were called to shine. Boldly. Unapologetically. Faithfully.

But here's the challenge: **The world will try to stop you.**

It will whisper that you're not qualified. That you're too broken, too flawed, too ordinary. That your faith is outdated. That speaking truth is judgmental. That serving others is naive. That pursuing God's plan for your life is foolish. The world will do everything it can to extinguish your flame.

Don't let it.

Jeremiah 29:11 promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." God has a purpose for your life. Not the world's purpose. Not culture's purpose. *God's* purpose. And it is good.

Whatever you are called to be—a teacher, a parent, a friend, a witness, a healer, a voice for the voiceless—be it fully. Be it courageously. Be it in faith. Don't let fear stop you. Don't let criticism silence you. Don't let the enemy convince you that your calling doesn't matter.

2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." You have been equipped. You have been anointed. You have been sent.

Today, someone needs your light. They need your kindness. They need your courage. They need to see Christ reflected in you. Will you answer the call?

**Don't let the world dim your light. Be who God created you to be. Shine for His glory.**

The darkness cannot overcome the light.

# He Who Hung the Stars is Holding Me

Good evening, everyone!

What a day this has been. Amazing. Full. Blessed. And now, as I lay my head down to rest, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for one simple, profound truth:

**He who hung the stars is holding me.**

Think about that for a moment. The same God who spoke the universe into existence. The same God who hung billions upon billions of stars in the heavens with a word. The same God whose power is infinite, whose wisdom is boundless, whose love transcends all understanding—*that* God is holding you. Holding me. Right now.

Psalm 121:4 reminds us: "He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." While you rest tonight, God is awake. While you dream, He is vigilant. While you are vulnerable in sleep, He is your fortress, your shield, your protector.

This is security that the world cannot offer. Not in bank accounts or locked doors or alarm systems. Real security—the kind that lets you sleep peacefully in a troubled world—comes from knowing you are held by the One who holds all things.

Whatever today brought you—victories or struggles, joy or sorrow, answered prayers or unanswered questions—it all matters to Him. And tonight, as you surrender to rest, you can do so knowing that nothing has escaped His notice. Nothing is beyond His control. Nothing is too big for His hands.

Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." Peace. Perfect peace. Not because everything is perfect, but because you trust in a perfect God.

So tonight, lay down secure. Lay down knowing that the Creator of the cosmos cares about you personally. Lay down in the confidence that you are protected, loved, and held by hands that have never failed.

Sleep well, beloved. You are safe in His grip.

**Rest in His peace tonight. Tomorrow, His mercies are new. **

Rise Up & Shine
The sun is shining. The coffee is hot. And today? You're unstoppable.
God didn't wake you up to play small. He woke you up to make a difference.
"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24
So here's your mission: Go out and spread the light.
Be bold. Be brave. Be His light in someone's darkness.
Lift someone up. Speak life. Show love like you mean it.
"You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father." — Matthew 5:14, 16
The world is waiting for what God put inside you.
Don't hold back. Go shine.

# The Power of Truth in a World of Lies

Good morning, everyone!

How many times have you heard something repeated until you started to believe it—even when deep down, you knew it wasn't true? A lie told once is a lie. A lie told a hundred times? It starts to feel like truth.

This is the world we live in. Voices constantly telling us we're not enough. That we can't succeed. That our past defines our future. That God doesn't care. That the Bible is outdated, irrelevant, or false. Repeat it enough times, and people start to believe it.

But here's what separates us as believers: **We have access to absolute truth.**

In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life." Not a truth. Not one option among many. *The* truth. God's Word doesn't shift with culture or convenience. It doesn't change based on how many people reject it. The Bible is not a lie—it is the unchanging, eternal foundation of all reality.

Proverbs 12:22 tells us, "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." God cannot lie. It's not in His nature. When He speaks, it is done. When He makes a promise, it stands forever.

So when the world whispers lies to you—about your worth, your potential, your purpose, your God—don't let repetition fool you into believing them. Stand firm on the rock of Scripture. Test everything against God's Word. In 1 John 4:1, we're told to "not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God."

The truth will set you free. Not the lie repeated a thousand times. Not the false narrative dressed up in appealing packaging. But the Gospel. The Word of God. The unchanging, eternal, absolute truth of Jesus Christ.

**Don't be deceived. Know the truth. Live the truth. Speak the truth.**

In a world of lies, be a beacon of God's light.

# Make Every Chance Count

Good morning, everyone!

Life is precious. Time is precious. And the chances God gives you? They're sacred.

Think about how many moments slip through our fingers every single day. A conversation we could have had. A dream we could have pursued. A person we could have served. A chance to reflect Christ's love, to grow in faith, to answer God's calling—and we let it pass by.

But here's the truth Scripture teaches us: every single chance that comes your way is an opportunity from the Lord. Ephesians 5:16 urges us to be "redeeming the time, because the days are evil." We are called to be faithful stewards of the time God has entrusted to us.

That chance to speak truth in love? Take it. That chance to minister to someone in need? Seize it. That chance to work diligently as unto the Lord, to grow in wisdom and knowledge of Him, to become more like Christ? Don't hesitate—answer that calling.

Jesus taught us through His parables about faithfulness. The servants who multiplied their talents were rewarded. The one who buried his talent out of fear faced judgment. God doesn't ask for perfection—He asks for obedience, for effort, for a willing heart.

You don't know how many chances remain. Only God knows the number of your days. So why delay? Why hold back? Why let fear rob you of the abundant life Christ promised? Proverbs 27:12 tells us, "The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty." Act with wisdom. Act with faith.

So today, I'm challenging you: **Make every chance count for God's kingdom.** Don't let this day pass you by. Step up in your calling. Show up for others. Give your best as an offering to the Lord. Be bold in your faith. Be Christ-like in your love. Be the witness God created you to be.

Your eternal reward awaits those who are faithful.

# Today is a Beautiful Day

Good morning, everyone!

Let me tell you something—today is a beautiful day. Not because the sun is shining or the weather is perfect, but because you're here, you're alive, and God has blessed you with another chance to fulfill His purpose for your life.

Think about it. Every single day is a gift from the Lord, a fresh start written in His grace. Psalm 118:24 reminds us: "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." The mistakes of yesterday? They're covered by His mercy. The worries about tomorrow? Cast them upon Him, for He cares for you.

Today is beautiful because you are made in the image of God. You have been given free will, a sound mind, and the Holy Spirit to guide you. That's not just power—that's divine purpose.

So today, step into this beautiful day as a child of God. Choose to love as Christ loved. Choose to serve others with a generous heart. Choose to trust in His plan, even when the path isn't clear. Pray without ceasing. Let your light shine so that others may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Life isn't always easy, and we live in a fallen world. But we have the greatest hope of all—the promise of redemption through Jesus Christ. That transforms everything.

So embrace this beautiful day. Do something that honors God. Be the witness He's called you to be. And remember—He is with you always, even to the end of the age.

Today Is Amazing Because You're Still Here

Don't give up. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.

You've made it this far — through battles you fought in silence, through nights that felt endless, through moments when you wondered if it was all worth it. And here you are. Still standing. That's not luck. That's God's grace holding you up.

Every breath you take is a miracle. Every sunrise is proof that He hasn't abandoned you. Your presence matters. Your story matters. The world needs what only you can bring.

The enemy wants you to quit. He wants you to believe the lie that you're too broken, too tired, too far gone. But God says otherwise. He says you are beloved, redeemed, and chosen — not because of what you've done, but because of who He is.

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." — Isaiah 40:31

Your breakthrough is coming. Your purpose is still unfolding. God's not finished with your story yet.

So hold on. Keep believing. Keep moving forward — even if it's just one small step at a time.

You've got this. God's got you.

Hey everyone! I know I’ve been a little quiet lately — finals week has been no joke! This girl has been working hard to keep that perfect GPA, and by the grace of God, I made the Dean’s List!

All glory goes to the Lord for His mercy, peace, and sustaining strength through every long night and study session. As Philippians 4:13 reminds me, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

A new class starts tomorrow, and I’d really appreciate your prayers for focus, discipline, and continued excellence — but most of all, that I keep glorifying God in everything I do.

Today Is a Gift — Don’t Waste It!

Wake up knowing this: God didn’t bring you this far to leave you now.
You’ve been given another day, another shot at growth, joy, and purpose. Don’t scroll through today — live it. Smile big, pray bold, love hard, and go after the things that set your soul on fire.

Today’s not “just another day.”
It’s a divine opportunity wrapped in sunlight and grace.

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

Go shine, go hustle, go praise — this day is yours!

As the day ends, I’m thankful for His mercy and presence. May we all rest in God’s peace tonight and wake renewed in His strength.
“Come to Me, all who are weary… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

The sun sets, but my faith stands.
I may not know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow.
Resting in His promise and recharging for what’s ahead.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” — Psalm 28:7

Each sunrise is God’s reminder that your story isn’t over — you’re still being written into something beautiful. Stay strong, stay faithful, stay blessed!

Rise and Shine — God’s Got This!
Today is a brand-new gift, wrapped in grace and filled with purpose. No matter what comes your way, remember: you’re walking with the One who never fails. Step out in faith, speak life, love others, and trust that God is already working things together for your good.

Let’s go into today with hearts on fire, doing God’s work with joy and intention. The world needs your light.

**Break the Ship, Don’t Burn It**

People say, *“Burn the ships and never look back.”*
But I believe God says, **“Break the ship, and build again.”**
Don’t destroy your past — let God **redeem** it.
Those old chapters, those broken moments, those long nights — they *brought you here.*
They carried you through the storm so you’d learn how to build what’s next.

Remember Paul. The ship broke apart, but he still reached the shore because **God’s purpose doesn’t sink.**
(Acts 27:44)
So don’t curse what broke. Gather the pieces.
Build again — this time with faith, with wisdom, and with grace.
God’s not asking you to burn your past.
He’s asking you to **use** it.

Even in the middle of life’s storms, I’ll keep praising God.
The thunder may roar, but my faith stands firm. Every trial is a reminder of His strength working in me. Keep trusting, keep praising — the storm won’t last forever.

**“He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.” — Psalm 107:29**

Thank You, Lord, for today — for strength, grace, and mercy that never run out. As I close my eyes, I trust tomorrow to You.

“Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)
The Catechism reminds us that faith is both a gift and a response — a surrender of the heart to God (CCC 150).

Tonight, I rest in that surrender. Goodnight, dear family of faith. May your hearts be at peace in His keeping.
