  • It’s the little things
May 19, 2026 by Steve Snider
"Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much..." — Luke 16:10

Most of life is not made up of big, defining moments.

It's made up of the small ones.

The quiet decisions no one sees. The habits built day after day. The way we respond when no one is watching.

We often think transformation happens in breakthrough moments — when everything changes all at once. But more often, it happens slowly. Quietly. Daily.

The man you're becoming is being shaped by your small, consistent choices. Your choices are certainly shaped by your walk with Christ.

Your daily connection with Christ matters.

When I'm walking closely with Jesus — spending time with Him, talking to Him, listening to His voice — I find my choices naturally shifting. I think less about myself and more about others. I respond more than I react. The little things start to look different because I'm starting to look different.

Your daily walk with Christ is the root. Your daily choices are the fruit.

Where in your life are small decisions quietly shaping who you're becoming?

What is one small step you can take today — starting with time with Jesus — to move toward the man you want to be?

  • STOP LETTING OTHER PEOPLE DETERMINE YOUR WORSHIP!🗣 It does not matter if everyone else isn’t raising their hands, kneeling at the altar, or shouting with praise. YOU STILL CAN!Worshipping God in spirit and in truth is your born-again BIRTHRIGHT! You do NOT have to fit your adoration for Jesus into a cute little box. It can be radical. It can be exuberant. It can be loud. It can be quiet. It is between YOU AND GOD, not you and man!
Do not hold back because of the atmosphere you’re in. You’re called to be a thermostat, not a thermometer!🌡

  • thequestlife "But let him who boasts boast
of this: that he understands and knows Me."

In a world that pushes us to prove
ourselves, God reminds us that the only
thing worth boasting about is knowing Him.
Not our strength. Not our wisdom. Not our
    accomplishments.

    Just Him.
    His kindness.
    His justice
    His righteousness.

At Quest, this truth becomes real. When you
come away with Him, the pressure to
perform fades... and the joy of simply
    knowing God takes its place.

  • Is It Worth the Fight?
    November 4th, 2025
    0
"But when Abram heard that his kinsman had been taken captive, he led forth his trained men… and went in pursuit." – Genesis 14:14

Every now and then, you come to a moment that demands a decision. Not just a feeling or a thought, but a choice. You have to decide whether what you are facing is worth pushing through or worth walking away from. That’s what Abram faced when he found out his nephew Lot had been taken.

Lot had made his own choices. He had moved toward Sodom. He had positioned himself near danger. Abram could have said it was not his responsibility anymore. But he did not. He got up, called his men together, and went after him. Because in Abram’s heart, Lot was still worth fighting for.

You have something worth fighting for, too. Maybe it is your peace. Maybe it is your marriage or your kids. Maybe it is the dream God placed in your heart that has been buried under disappointment. And somewhere along the way, you stopped chasing it because it got hard. But what if God is calling you to stop letting it slip away?

The enemy will not always take your stuff. Sometimes he goes after your rest, your hope, or your confidence. And if you are not careful, you will let go of things that matter deeply because it feels easier than fighting to get them back. But just because it is hard does not mean it is over.

Abram did not wait around hoping things would fix themselves. He moved. He gathered the right people, made a plan, and did what had to be done. You may not have an army of trained men, but you do have the presence of God and the power of prayer. You have the strength to fight back.

There is too much on the line to just roll over and let the enemy win. So ask yourself again, is it worth the fight? If it is, then get up and go after it. God is with you. And you are not fighting for nothing. You are fighting for something that matters.
