  • The Truth Always Prevails

A lie often breeds more lies, because one falsehood needs another to cover it up, creating a tangled web of deception. Yet, no matter how convincing or long-hidden a lie may seem, truth has a way of breaking through. Like light piercing darkness, the truth always prevails, for it cannot be destroyed—only delayed.

  • It’s important not to disrespect what makes you relevant or what people value about you because those things are often the foundation of your influence, trust, and opportunities.

When you disrespect them—whether through neglect, arrogance, or carelessness—you risk:

    1. Losing the very platform that sustains you
Your skills, principles, or relationships are often what opened doors for you. If you treat them lightly, those doors can close just as quickly.

    2. Damaging your credibility
Respect for what makes you valuable shows integrity and consistency. Disrespect erodes people’s confidence in you, making them doubt your character.

    3. Weakening your identity and purpose
The things that make you relevant are usually tied to your gifts, values, or calling. If you dishonor them, you slowly chip away at the sense of purpose that keeps you motivated.

    4. Destroying relationships and trust
People place value on you for certain reasons—maybe your loyalty, wisdom, work ethic, or authenticity. Disrespecting those qualities can make them feel betrayed or disappointed.

    5. Inviting replacement
In life, no one is truly irreplaceable. If you mishandle what makes you special, someone else can step in who will value and nurture it better.

In short—what makes you relevant is like the root of a tree. You may enjoy the shade and fruit, but if you ignore or harm the root, the whole tree dies.

  • In Loving Memory of My Mother, Florence Echemunor A.
    Sunset: August 4th, 1998

It’s been years, yet it feels like yesterday.
The echo of your voice still lingers in the quiet places of my soul.
Your laughter was a melody I never wanted to forget.
    Your arms—my first shelter.
    Your prayers—my constant covering.

You were more than a mother.
You were grace wrapped in gentleness,
    Strength dressed in humility,
Love poured out with no reserve.

    Florence Echemunor A.—
Your name is engraved in the deepest chambers of my heart.
    You lived with quiet dignity,
    Giving, serving, sacrificing—
Often unnoticed by the world, but never by me.

I still remember how your hands worked tirelessly
To make a house feel like home,
    And how your eyes sparkled
When you saw me smile, or rise again after falling.

Your absence carved a space nothing else can fill.
    Yet in that space,
    I’ve found your legacy,
    Your lessons,
    And your unshakable love.

    Today—August 4th—
I light a candle in my heart for you.
Not as a sign of sorrow alone,
But as a celebration of all you were:
    A mother. A nurturer. A jewel. A light.
    My forever Florence.

    Though time moves on,
My love for you remains untouched,
Like a sacred altar of memory and gratitude.

    Sleep well, dearest mother.
    Your love outlived your breath.
    And I will carry you
In every tomorrow I walk into.

    Forever your child,
    Cyril Agary
