- I was watching Jesus of Nazareth on TUBI, and when I went back to finish watching it, its no longer available...what is going on? Movies about Jesus Christ are being removed from movie apps...I was watching Jesus of Nazareth on TUBI, and when I went back to finish watching it, its no longer available...what is going on? - I want to serve God by helping those people who need help, but with my job and trying to support my family, I don't have any availability. If I could, I would go to Gaza and help the many people who are affected by this war, there isn't enough help.

- I have a question...if a man is born blind and cannot see the wickedness of the world, and is deaf to the words of Satan's temptation...is he capable of sin in the eyes of God?I have a question...if a man is born blind and cannot see the wickedness of the world, and is deaf to the words of Satan's temptation...is he capable of sin in the eyes of God?1 Kommentare 0 Anteile 14 Ansichten
- My wife texted me today and asked that I refrain from telling my 6 year old daughter about Jesus Christ. But I told my wife that I can't and won't refrain from this. My daughter asks me about Jesus Christ and I tell her. My daughter says that Jesus Christ loves her. My wife says that my daughter isn't old enough to comprehend faiths. If my daughter is asking about Jesus Christ and says that the lord loves her, then I say she comprehends the belief of Jesus Christ. My wife texted me today and asked that I refrain from telling my 6 year old daughter about Jesus Christ. - First, I think I should introduce myself to the LordBook family, as you all may have already guessed, my name is Damian Rave. I was born and raised here in Washington state. I served briefly in the US Navy, i have two beautiful daughters and been married for almost 9 years. I currently work security, but my number one dream was to be an Archaeologist.
I was 16 years old when I was baptized in the church i attended, and was saved the same day. At that time, I thought that all i had to do was be baptized and say a prayer that declared i was a sinner in order to know God and go to heaven. Little did i know, that was just a small part of knowing God, I really didn't know who Jesus Christ was and didn't understand what it meant to be a Christian.
As my life continued through the years, I endured many challenges and trials...from being married and divorced 3 times, losing my career in the military to try to save my marriage, only to lose my marriage, my daughter being taken away from me by her mother and losing my military career...I lived on the streets, my goal of being an Archaeologist was nowhere in sight, I had to have 4 surgeries on my legs, my best friend was gone after 26 years...much more, I moved in with a girlfriend who i didn't know was a drug addict and for 2 years, i tried to help her, putting my own life on hold...but as much as I hated it, I couldn't do it anymore and left...
Throughout my life, I had more trials and challenges mentally, and emotionally...but as we all know, each and every one of us has had challenges and trials that tested us...
Today, I am married for almost 9 years, unfortunately, not all marriages are rainbows and pink elephants. My wife is pagan and as you already know, i am Christian. My youngest daughter who is 6 years old, listens to my Christian radio station and asks about Jesus Christ all the time and wants a kids Bible...My wife calls churches "save me houses" and won't open the front door to anyone who is associated with any religion.
I take my Bible with me to work and read a few chapters everyday, i pray to Jesus Christ as much as possible, and i have to say that since i began to seek out Jesus Christ and know him truly with an open heart, willing soul, and believe that he truly died on the cross for my sins...something inside my heart feels like something is missing...I can't explain it, does it mean that I have doubts? Does it mean that I don't believe? Because I truly believe in Jesus Christ...who wouldn't? He sacrificed himself in the flesh to save this world from sin...not condemn or judge. Or is something missing inside me because some part of me feels that I am not pleasing to the lord? I can't live without him...I don't want to live without him...I want him to know that I so desperately need and want him...
So, this being said...I would like to say a few kind words, I pray and have faith that when Jesus Christ returns, we will all rise up into heaven together with tears of joy when we see our heavenly father waiting for us with open arms, saying, "welcome home".First, I think I should introduce myself to the LordBook family, as you all may have already guessed, my name is Damian Rave.
