Lesson I am learning….

I tend to look at others, Christians and non-Christians alike, as a guage of how I am doing on my walk with Christ. Many times I am like, “Gee, I am not so bad!”.

This morning I realized that I should be comparing my attitudes, words, actions and non-actions to Jesus - NOT to other human beings.

Becoming more like Him is the goal — not being or becoming better than my fellow humans.

in middle of listening to the audiobook “The Deconstruction of Christianity” by Alisa Childers and Red Pen Logic’s Tim Barnett. So far - definitely worth the listen and very enlightening and informative.
