I am a former Atheist of 20+ years, I was brought up in church and served in many ways during that time. at 16 I went into a very dark place mentally and stayed there until I was 35. My wife kept on and on about us going to church again, I would always say "no I'm good, I don't need it" etc. Well I finally said yes after the last time her asking, I felt uncomfortable and awkward the first time going, felt everyone was just faking, but I listened to the message and it was beautiful. We went back the following week and the message just hit something in both of us at altar call. My wife walked up and I grabbed on to her hand to follow her, on that day we both got saved and baptized. Since then our life together has been truly amazing, before being saved we were struggling as a married couple. After we are communicating a lot more and being more open about everything. The Lord saved our married and has brought pure love and happiness into not only our lives but in our spiritual journey as well
