When society says, "it's all about YOU," "whatever makes YOU feel good,"
"cut out anything that contradicts what YOU believe to be true, rather than listen to what IS TRUE,"
We can't have a heart of SERVICE if we buy into every belief that is SELFISH.

Sometimes I think that we as Christians focus on the love we FEEL and blessings, like we're in the honeymoon phase. But, forget that there will be suffering. Especially, in the U.S., where the majority of our persecution is still verbal.

Then Jesus said to his disciples:
If any of you want to be my followers, you must forget about yourself. You must take up your cross and follow me. If you want to save your life, you will destroy it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find it. What will you gain, if you own the whole world but destroy yourself? What would you give to get back your soul?
