A Step-by-Step Guide for Every Pair

"The things you have heard from me... commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."
— 2 Timothy 2:2

You don't need a title. You need a willing heart and one person.

Here are the steps.

STEP 1 · WIN (Day 1 Teacher: Gabriel)
Build the relationship first

Before you teach, earn the right to be heard. Share a meal. Listen to their story. Pray for them quietly before you ever correct them.

People are won to a Person through a person. Jesus ate with sinners before He corrected them.

Luke 5:29 to 32

STEP 2 · GROUND (Day 2 Teacher: Divine)
Establish the foundations

Open Scripture together. Pray together. Help them build the basic habits: the Word daily, prayer daily, fellowship weekly.

Acts 2:42 — they continued steadfastly. Not occasionally. Steadfastly.

STEP 3 · MODEL (Day 3 Teacher: Mercy)
Let them watch your real life

Don't just instruct. Let them see you pray, fail, repent, and obey. More is caught than taught.

Paul said: "Be imitators of me, as I also am of Christ." He gave them a life to watch, not just words to hear.

STEP 4 · EQUIP (Day 4 Teacher: Chinonso)
Move them from served to serving

Give them something to do. Let them pray aloud. Let them serve beside you. Help them discover their gift and use it.

Equipping is not optional extra — it's the leader's actual job (Ephesians 4:12).

STEP 5 · CORRECT IN LOVE (Day 5 Teacher: Praise)
Speak the truth, gently

When they drift, don't ignore it and don't crush them. Speak the truth in love, the way you'd want someone to speak to you.

Galatians 6:1 — restore them in a spirit of gentleness, watching yourself also.

STEP 6 · SEND (Day 6 Teacher: Victoria)
Release them to disciple someone else

This is the step most people skip. A disciple is not fully made until they begin to make disciples. Help them find their own name to disciple.

Paul → Timothy → faithful men → others also. Four generations, one verse. Don't let the chain stop with you.

① Who is the one person I can begin with this month?
② Am I willing to let them see my real life, not just my teaching?
③ Have I prayed and asked God to give me their name?

Win → Ground → Model → Equip → Correct → Send.

Skip Win, and they won't trust you.
Skip Ground, and they'll have no root.
Skip Model, and they'll only copy your words, not your walk.
Skip Equip, and they'll stay dependent forever.
Skip Correct, and they'll drift unchecked.
Skip Send, and the chain stops with you.
