“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

This verse warns us that our own understanding and desires can sometimes lead us astray. What seems right in our own eyes may not always align with God’s wisdom. Self-reliance and following our own path, without seeking God’s guidance, can lead to destruction—whether spiritually, emotionally, or physically. It’s a reminder that not everything that glitters is gold—what looks good on the surface may not be good for us in the long run.

True fulfillment and life come from trusting in God’s wisdom and surrendering our will to His. When we choose His path, we find peace, purpose, and eternal life.
