    *SEE FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP*

*If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:1-2).*

The Word of God gives us clear instructions as to how to live, the mindset we should have, and what our outlook on life should be. Take for example what we just read in our opening scripture. The Lord is telling you to focus on heavenly things and not on earthly things. Have a mountain-top view.

It brings to mind something remarkable that the Lord told me many years ago; He said, “Son, see from the mountaintop.” The interesting thing is, I didn’t even realize I was on the mountaintop until He told me. You see, it's not something you feel physically or emotionally.

I know that some Christians say they are “journeying” and trying to get to the mountaintop. But being born again, you’re on the mountaintop. You’re risen with Christ; seated together with Him, far above principalities and powers. Therefore, see from there. Live from there. It’s the best view. Hallelujah!

From the mountaintop, you see things clearly. Your perspective is elevated. You’re above the distractions and limitations of the world. You see from a higher realm, the realm of the Spirit, where it's only victory, strength, health, prosperity and unending progress.

Ponder again what we read in Colossians 3:2, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Your thoughts, desires, focus and devotion should be directed towards heavenly realities, not earthly distractions. Align your mind with the heavenly perspective and live victoriously every day.

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for raising me up with Christ to live and see from the mountaintop. My affection is set on heavenly things, and my vision is clear and focused; I live above the distractions and limitations of this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Ephesians 2:6 NIV
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

    Philippians 3:20 NIV
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

    Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

*God bless you and do have a great day*

    *PRESENTING JESUS CHRIST ALIVE*

*Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8).*

Yes, the Lord Jesus in His power, glory, dominion and grace lives beyond the written pages. He’s alive today, blessing and transforming lives as He did in Bible days. Christianity transcends mere words on paper. It’s about presenting Jesus Christ alive to the nations and peoples of the world, beyond history and prophecy.

We must take this message beyond our immediate borders, to reach the farthest regions, to the ends of the earth. This has to be your mindset now more than ever. The real Church can’t be stagnant or static; the real Church must be dynamic. It must continually reach beyond borders, presenting Jesus Christ alive, relevant and as Lord in a postmodern world. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the consistency of your vision and the revelation of Jesus Christ alive today. I’m taking the message beyond borders, presenting the living Christ to my world and beyond. The Church is marching forward, expanding and spreading the message of your love, power and grace through the nooks and crannies of the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

    Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

    Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

    *THE CONSISTENCY OF JESUS CHRIST*

*Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith, follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:7-8).*

What we read in our opening scripture above is quite profound. There’s a connection between verses 7 and 8 that many Bible translators didn’t grasp. This is due primarily to the lack of punctuation in the original Greek text.

The connection is straightforward when you study the passage in context. Both verses actually emphasize the consistency of the Lord Jesus Christ. The 8th verse, which says “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever,” is not independent of the preceding verse 7.

What the Spirit is emphasizing in those verses is that the leaders who brought us God's Word had a way of life that demonstrated and bore testimony to the power and consistency of the Lord Jesus Christ; He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. In other words, their faith produced results that reflected the unchanging nature of the Lord Jesus—His faithfulness, trustworthiness and glory— proving Him to be consistent. What He did back then, He’s able to do, and still does today.

Therefore, the instruction is clear: follow the faith of those who delivered God’s Word to you, considering the outcome of their lives, which is the revelation of Jesus Christ’s consistency and unchanging nature. No wonder James 1:17 describes Him as the Father of lights, with whom there’s no variableness, neither shadow of turning; no shadow of inconsistency with Him.

He said through the prophet in Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I change not….” Today, it makes no difference where you are in your life or what you need; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Trust Him with your life. Those who came ahead of us testified of His faithfulness and the infallibility and immutability of His Word. We have the same testimony; He never fails. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the consistency of your Word and the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus Christ who’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. My life is a revelation of the unchanging nature of Christ, His glory, power and love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Hebrews 13:7-8 ESV;
Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

    James 1:17 NIV
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

    *THE UNITY OF THE FAITH*

*Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).*

There's a level of maturity that the Church of Jesus Christ all over the world is expected to come to before the Rapture of the Church. This doesn’t mean every individual will become mature overnight, because we’re still winning souls. Therefore, there’ll be baby Christians, and it’ll take time to train and raise them in the Word.

But God's people are growing, becoming more aware and more united in the faith. This will continue until such a time that there’ll be unity in the spirit. What unifies God’s people in this manner is the knowledge of the Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. What the opening scripture tells us isn’t something to be achieved in heaven but here on earth. Notice it says, “Till we all come...,” not just some of us but the whole Church moving in unity. Even the babes in Christ who don’t know much are expected to follow the guidance of those who have walked with the Lord longer.

That's why Paul could confidently say, "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1). He said, "Copy me," because he was following the Master. It’s like living in a city with a high level of enlightenment; even if someone never went to school, he or she would be cultured likewise by simply being in that environment. In Christ, we all live in God’s spiritual city: “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels” (Hebrews 12:22).

We all are involved in this maturing of the Body of Christ: learning the Word, following the Lord's guidance, and helping others to grow in Him until we, the Church, arrive at that place of maturity and unbroken unity that the Word describes. Ensure to play your role.

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of your Word that unifies and matures us in Christ. I yield myself to be a worthy example to those who are coming into the fold. As I follow Christ, I guide others by my words, actions and devotion to you. Thank you for your grace that enables me to walk in your wisdom and truth every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Ephesians 4:11-16
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

    *UNDERSTANDING THE FATHER'S HEART*

*For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them...(Luke 9:56).*

In praying to effect changes, especially in your town, city or nation, a clear understanding of the Word and insight into the mind of God is important. For example, consider a scenario where a group of Christians in a city or nation are praying in agreement that they don’t want a particular government official. Meanwhile, there’re other Christians who work with that same leader who may be praying every day for the leader to succeed and remain in office.

While those declaring a change may be justified, God also considers the prayers of His children who are standing in faith for that leader. It reveals something about the nature of God—His fatherly nature. You may expect Him to act in a certain way and He doesn’t. It’s because He thinks differently. His actions are governed by His love, mercy, and purpose.

Consider the case of James and John in Luke 9:54-56. They were offended by those who did not plan adequately to receive the Lord Jesus and asked, “...Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?” (Luke 9:54). But Jesus rebuked them, saying, “...Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them...” (Luke 9:55-56).

The Master demonstrated the Father’s heart of love and mercy throughout His ministry. He understood His purpose and remained committed to fulfilling it according to the will of the Father. God's nature is consistent. He is merciful and loving. He operates as wisdom, always seeking to save and to bring His children into alignment with His divine purpose.

Understanding this helps us appreciate why God may not always act the way we expect Him to, even when we think our desires are justified. As you give yourself to the Word and the guidance of His Spirit, you will increasingly know and walk in His perfect will and plan in every situation and be able to pray effectively with direction and precision.

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for your love, mercy and wisdom. I recognize your fatherly heart, and I yield myself to your will and purpose, and declare that your love and grace prevail in my life and in the lives of those around me as I walk in alignment with your Word and fulfil your purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

John 3:16-17* For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

    2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    Ezekiel 18:23
Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: [and] not that he should return from his ways, and live.

I recognize your fatherly heart, and I yield myself to your will and purpose, and declare that your love and grace prevail in my life and in the lives of those around me as I walk in alignment with your Word and fulfil your purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY* John 3:16-17* For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Ezekiel 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: [and] not that he should return from his ways, and live. *God bless you and do have a great weekend*

*TRUE AUTHORITY LIES WITH GOD AND HIS CHURCH*

*And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule (Daniel 4:26).*

The Bible, in Daniel 4, tells of how Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that troubled him deeply. In this dream, he saw a magnificent tree that grew tall and strong, providing shelter and food for all living creatures. However, an angelic being ordered that the tree be cut down, leaving only a stump bound with iron and bronze. This dream perplexed the king, and he consulted Daniel, a prophet of God, to interpret it.

Daniel revealed that the tree was the king himself, and he would be humbled for his pride until he acknowledged that "...the heavens do rule" (Daniel 4:26). A year later, being yet unrepentant, Nebuchadnezzar was struck with madness; for seven years, he lived like an animal, eating grass and roaming the fields.

According to Daniel 4:17, this decree came from the "watchers": "This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men." The "watchers" here refer to angelic beings assigned to oversee matters on earth with authority to enforce God's will.

Nebuchadnezzar thought he ruled the world until he was compelled to acknowledge the rulership of the heavens. It’s the same today. Those who falsely claim absolute authority over others, operating under the delusion that their influence gives them control over the nations, don’t realize that true authority lies with God and His heavenly Kingdom. All power belongs to the Lord, and He executes His judgements on earth through the Church: “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18).

We enforce God’s will in our world: “All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church. The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ's body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence” (Ephesians 1:20-23 MSG). Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for the assurance that the heavens do rule and that all power belongs to you. I rejoice knowing that all the kingdoms of this world will submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I declare that your will and purpose prevail over the nations, and your authority reigns supreme, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Psalm 103:19
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

    Daniel 7:13-14

    Matthew 28:18-19
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

    *FOLLOWING HIS DIVINE PLAN*

*For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).*

Romans 8:29 says, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate….” Predestination is at work in you. God has a divine plan for your life, and He has set events and their sequence in motion in line with His divine plan.

Consider John the Baptist, for example, whose entire ministry was for the sole purpose of making the Messiah known to Israel. God could have simply told John where to find Jesus, but John had to follow God's instructions and wait for the sign he was given: “...Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit” (John 1:33 NKJV).

Finally, Jesus stood before him, and John recognized Him (John 1:29-34). It unfolded precisely according to God’s divine plan. Consider, too, Samuel’s intriguing visit to anoint one of Jesse's sons as king (1 Samuel 16:1-13). Samuel thought he had found the Lord’s anointed when he saw Eliab, with his impressive stature. But God said, “Not him, for I have rejected him” (1 Samuel 16:7). One by one, Jesse brought seven of his sons before Samuel, and each time God said, “Not this one.”

God could have simply told Samuel who to anoint, but He allowed the process to unfold step by step. Finally, Samuel asked Jesse, “Are here all thy children?” Jesse admitted that there was still one more son, David, who was tending the sheep. When David was brought before Samuel, the Lord said, “...Arise, anoint him: for this is he” (1 Samuel 16:12). God's divine plan for David came to pass according to His preordained design.

God has a plan for your life and it’s a good one. He has predestined your life for His glory, and He knows exactly where you are in His divine plan. You don’t need to be in a hurry or get in a frenzy trying to fulfil His destiny for your life. He has all the events and their sequence planned out in line with His divine purpose.

Yours is to follow the path which He has prearranged ahead of time. Ephesians 2:10 AMPC says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].”

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I trust you wholeheartedly, knowing that you have predestined my life for your glory. My life is a testimony of your faithfulness, and I yield myself to your perfect will, ever advancing and fulfilling all you have called me to do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

    Psalm 139:16 NIV
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

    Romans 8:29
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

    Jeremiah 1:4-5
Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

*STAY FOCUSED ON THE DIVINE MISSION*

*For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak (John 12:49).*

The Lord Jesus was focused on His divine mission. He knew exactly what He came to do and was undistracted. He declared His purpose and remained committed to it: "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10 NKJV).

Then in John 4:34 NKJV, He said,
“…My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work,” showing His deep commitment to completing the mission given to Him by the Father. But then in John 20:21, He said something remarkable, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” Therefore, like Him, we must stay focused on the divine mission.

He said in Mark 16:15, “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This is the divine mission. Matthew 24:14 says “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Our mandate is to complete the full preaching of the Gospel in all nations; how focused are you on this?

Your accountability to the Lord would be on the basis of your participation in the Gospel. Anyone can say to you today, “You're doing a great job,” but what truly matters is if you’re doing what the Lord said to do. Even in speech, the Lord Jesus set an example as seen in our theme verse. Every word He spoke was in alignment with the divine mission.

He said in John 8:29, “I always do those things that please the Father.” We’re called to emulate Him in all things. Therefore, let your life mirror the Master in speech, action and commitment to the divine mission. Stay focused on fulfilling the mandate of the Gospel. Personalize the mandate and live every day with the consciousness that necessity is laid on you to preach the Gospel. Nothing in this world is more important than that.

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for setting me on a path of divine purpose. I walk in alignment with your will and in the consciousness that necessity is laid on me to preach the Gospel. My life is a reflection of true and unwavering commitment to the cause of the Gospel, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Acts 20:18-25
And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, 19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: 20 [And] how I kept back nothing that was profitable [unto you], but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, 21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. 24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

    1 Corinthians 9:16-17
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation [of the gospel] is committed unto me.

*CUSTODIANS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS*

*For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth... (Romans 1:16).*

The Gospel of Jesus Christ that we preach is a message that truly works. It’s a message that produces undeniable results for everyone who believes it. It’s the reason you must be quick and bold to share it with others.

I remember talking to a man who had a very severe heart condition. The doctors had diagnosed him with heart failure and said he needed a transplant. But as I shared the Gospel with him, I said, “While I’m talking with you, there’ll be a change in your heart. All you have to do is believe what I’m telling you; just believe and give me a few minutes of your attention.”

He agreed. So, I kept talking to him, sharing with him the words of life. After about 15 minutes, I said to him, “It’s done.” And he replied, “Yes; it’s done.” The next test conducted on him showed he had a new heart! All the troubles were gone. I’ve seen this happen several times. It doesn’t matter what the case is; this Gospel works. It’s the message of Jesus Christ, and it produces results everywhere. Glory to God!

When you carry a message that works, you’re confident. That’s why the Lord wants us to be confident of the Gospel. We can’t keep it to ourselves because it works. It truly works! The Bible says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

In Romans 1:16-17, Paul said, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith...” (NKJV). The message has no borders. It works in every country, every city, and for everyone who believes. It transforms lives, brings healing and health to the sick, prosperity to the poor, and salvation to the lost.

How can we be quiet about such a message that transforms destinies and catapults men and women from despair to victory? Therefore, preach the Gospel boldly. The message works every time, everywhere, and for everyone who believes. Hallelujah!

    *THE CONDITION OF YOUR SPIRIT*

*Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… (Colossians 3:16).*

If the Lord Jesus were to stand in front of you, how would you react or respond? It may surprise you to know that you’re unlikely to do any of the things you’re probably imagining right now that you’d do. That’s because, in the spirit realm, we respond from our spirits.

Therefore, if Jesus were to stand in front of you right now, you're going to respond from your spirit, because He’d be appearing to your spirit, and the condition of your spirit is what will be revealed. Consider when Saul (who later became Paul) encountered the Lord Jesus. The Master spoke from heaven to him, and he, falling to the ground and blinded by the glory of the Lord’s radiance, responded by asking, “...Who art thou, Lord?...” (Acts 9:5).

Imagine such a great and mighty voice spoke to him, and all he could say was, “Who are you?” That’s because that was the personality of Saul’s spirit at the time; he was still rowdy, injurious to the Church. That’s who he was. And when the Lord replied, “...I am Jesus whom thou persecutest…” (Acts 9:5), He was relating with the condition of Saul’s spirit.

Later on, the Lord Jesus appeared to him again and told him He would send him far away to the Gentiles, explaining that the people in Jerusalem wouldn’t receive his testimony. Saul argued with the Lord Jesus, insisting that the people knew who he was prior to his conversion, and as a result, they’d believe him. Saul was responding to the Lord based on the condition of his legalistic spirit at the time.

So the question is: What’s your spirit like? Who are you on the inside? That’s what will manifest in your words and in your actions. It’s not about the emotional or superficial reactions of the flesh. Even your emotions are often a result of the condition of your spirit.

It’s one of the reasons you must constantly educate and condition your spirit with the Word of God. When you allow the Word of God to dwell in you richly as it says in Colossians 3:16, your spirit will be rightly conditioned to receive divine guidance, be a sure guide, express the Christ-life, and manifest Kingdom realities. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for making me an ambassador for Christ. I declare that my spirit is attuned to your Word, and I will respond by faith to your Word always. I will represent your Kingdom effectively, proclaiming your truth with boldness and accuracy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Acts 9:3-6
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

    Acts 22:17-21
And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance; 18 And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me. 19 And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee: 20 And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him. 21 And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.

*THE PROPHETIC AFFIRMATION OF CHRIST’S DEITY*

*Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14).*

Hebrews 10:5-7 tells us something really remarkable about the Lord Jesus. It says, “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith… Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.” He came to fulfil prophecies. It’s remarkable to note that many of the prophecies concerning Him were given over 500 years before He was born in Bethlehem.

Despite the long span of time and the many different prophets through whom these prophetic words were given, the Lord Jesus alone fulfilled these prophecies. It’s impossible for one person to fulfil so many detailed and extraordinary prophecies unless He’s truly the One spoken of.

For example, the prophecies regarding the Virgin Birth; Isaiah 7:14 declares, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” This prophecy was fulfilled as described in Matthew 1:22-23, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem: "Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 'Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.'"

A prophecy of His place of Birth is found in Micah 5:2, and it says, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Again, we find the fulfilment of this prophecy in Matthew 2:1. It says, "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem."

This confirms that Jesus, the Messiah, was indeed born in Bethlehem, as prophesied by Micah, despite the town's humble significance. But even more profound is the description of Him as One “whose goings forth has been from of old, from everlasting.” This clearly speaks of His divine nature—He existed before time began.

Jesus was born exactly as the prophets foretold, in Bethlehem of Judah. No ordinary human being could be described as one “whose goings forth has been from everlasting.” These and other prophecies in Scripture affirm His deity, demonstrating that He is Himself God who took on human form. Hallelujah!

    *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the unveiling of your Word to my spirit to understand the divine nature of Jesus and the accuracy of the Scriptures that testify of Him. My faith is firmly rooted in your infallible Word, and I boldly proclaim Jesus as Lord over all. His Kingdom is established forever, and I walk in the light of His victory today and always. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY*

    Matthew 1:18-23
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just Manuhe Seyoum, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    Luke 1:34-35
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

    Luke 2:10-12
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

    THURSDAY 12TH JUNE 2025.

    *ACKNOWLEDGE AND DECLARE THE TRUTH*

*Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).*

Are you aware that there’s power at work in you? Yes, you have eternal life in you, and that life gives you power over sickness, disease and infirmities. You have power to cast out devils, heal sicknesses and cure diseases. You’ve been empowered to live in victory and unending prosperity. This power in you is activated by acknowledgement and declaration. If you don't acknowledge it, it can't work.

Sometimes, in a bid to sound humble, some people deny what they have. If, maybe, you said to them, “Oh, you really have power,” their typical response would be, “I don't have any power; only Jesus has power.” But they're wrong. The same Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Don’t deny what He gave you simply because you think you’re being humble. Acknowledge and affirm that Jesus gave you power to do the impossible—power over all things. Think about it: He gave us the Holy Spirit to live in us. What do you think He’s doing inside you? Who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the repository of the power of God. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you….” That means when you received the Holy Spirit, you received power.

Observe how Jesus spoke. He said, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself” (John 5:26). Some people must have thought He was too proud for saying that, but He was declaring truth. Doesn’t the Bible say, “…as he is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17)?

Acknowledge and declare that you’re full of power. Let it be in the consciousness of your daily language. Like Prophet Micah, declare, “But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD…” (Micah 3:8). That's how you activate spiritual power. Talking this way will kill any tumour or disease that tries to rear its ugly head in your body.

    *PRAYER*

*I’m full of power by the Spirit of the Lord and can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I walk in divine health, unending prosperity, and supernatural strength. I’m triumphant over every adversity because I function in the authority and dominion of Christ, in whom I live and move and have my being. Amen.*

    *FURTHER STUDY:*

    Philemon 1:6;
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus

    2 Peter 1:3;
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

    1 Corinthians 2:12-13;
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
