A piece of advice, especially for engaged couples, people in courtship, or couples in relationships.
When you are going through a period of crisis in your relationship, avoid sending certain types of multimedia content to your partner.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼?
For example, videos, images, or messages that directly address the very issue that is causing the conflict between you.
Let’s take an example. Perhaps you think that your partner lacks maturity, and this has become a source of tension or arguments because of misunderstandings.
In such a case, it would be inappropriate to send a video saying something like:
“If you are immature, you will become irresponsible,” or any message of that kind.
Even if the content contains some truth, your partner will generally not be in the right state of mind to receive or understand such a message in a moment of tension. The situation may be perceived even more negatively if you are not usually in the habit of sharing this type of content under normal circumstances.
Instead of hiding behind a piece of content, make the effort to find the words to express directly how you feel. Speak sincerely so that the other person can understand your heart and your intention. Very often, it is through honest dialogue that tensions begin to calm down.
Sending such content at a moment like that is more likely to irritate the other person than to lead them toward better feelings.
Always seek to bring the situation back to calm and peace.
