*QT – 19 Feb —Matt 15:1–20*

Religious leaders come to question Jesus Christ about traditions.
( They care more about rules than heart )
They ask why disciples don’t follow the elders’ traditions.
But Jesus turns the question back to them.
( Sometimes we defend religion but ignore obedience to God )
People can honor God with lips…
but their hearts can be far away.
( Outward respect is not the same as inward surrender )

It is possible to look spiritual…
speak spiritual…
act religious…
but inside stay unchanged.
Jesus explains something powerful —
what goes into the mouth does not make a person unclean.
What comes out of the heart does.
( Sin is not just outside behavior… it is inside condition )
Evil thoughts… anger… lies… pride… selfish desires…much more
they begin inside, then appear outside. ( Human sees the Appearance but God sees the Heart )
( Real problem is heart, not habits )
I realize…
Many people often try to fix actions without surrendering heart.
They try to manage behavior instead of allowing God to transform me. ( They can do it by themselves, that the very habitual Religious act, tht is stuck in us )
Religion focuses on appearance.
God focuses on the heart.

God wants real change, not fake perfection.
He is ready to cleanse from the inside out. ( The way is here through Jesus Christ, the perfecter of life. )

true purity is not about what I avoid outwardly…
it is about what God heals inwardly.
If my heart is clean, my life will show it. ( We are also called as temple of God and God is in Us, the clean heart reflect the good way,work through our life, that The tree can be seen from his fruit )
If my heart is not surrendered, no rule can fix me.
( Therefore, the thing to check first Am I doing all the work of God, Fasting, Reading his Word but still just as an Act to show other and not allowing God to Change and Cleanse you from the Depth and Give you Jesus Christ, then we need to check, look back at our lives )

Father ( Abba ), the One who sees beyond appearance,
You know my heart better than I know it myself.
Sometimes I focus on looking right instead of being right inside.
Forgive me for empty words and outward religion without true surrender. ( I also fail ) Abba,
Clean my heart from hidden pride, wrong thoughts, and selfish desires. Change me from the inside out. Let my worship be real… my love be sincere… my obedience be true. Guard my heart, because everything flows from it.Make me pure in spirit, not just in appearance. I want a heart that is close to You, not just lips that speak about You.
