Why do christians continue to go to hostile places to preach the gospel?. Is this not like throwing pearls to swine.? Jesus said if a town does not listen to you move on. John even wanted to call fire from heaven to destroy them. Why are not more Christians praying that God destroy evil nations and groups like HAMAS and hezbollah and nations that defy God. When a people snub there nose at God why do we continue to preach to them? Do we really want to bring people like that to heaven? Would not that be like bringing party crashers to your banquet ? Any thoughts?

Jesus through out his ministry says my time has not yet come. Ever wonder what he means? Psalm 118:24 says "This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it." Most often we hear this verse and apply it to all days , but the day in reference actually is the period where Jesus was resurrected and worshipped as Lord.

Palm Sunday or the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey was the day that the World recognized Jesus as King. The crowds said " Hosannah in the highest. " It actually means " Messiah Save Us Of Our Sins" . The Pharassees told Jesus to quiet the crowd but Jesus response was ... if i tell them to be quiet the rocks will cry out. In other words Jesus would be Praised regardless because his Day had arrived.

Sadly the crowds turned on him shortly afterward because they did not understand what a sacrificial messiah meant. They looked for a worldly leader who would free them from Rome.

They hung Jesus on a cross to die. Not understanding that by doing so they fulfilled his purpose. Now Jesus will return as Judge and King at His soon return. MARANATHA

Why were the people destroyed by the Flood. Genesis 6:11 to 13 says they were corrupt and planned evil every hour of every day. They forgot to love each other, not seeing the potential good. They forgot to forgive and held bitterness toward everyone. They lived for themselves and forgot about God and what He desired.

Even though that is bad, the real reason God destroyed them was that with all of this corruption in them they were no longer able to shine a light to the world.

We in our sin had extinguished the LIght of love, goodness and hope.

In the New Testament Jesus said the gates of hell would never prevail on His Church. The Holy Spirit living in believers will shine in the world.

When the Church light is ignored, hated and rejected like in the coming tribulation , the Church will be raptured.

God always gives people what they want. If that is a world without light, hope and love for 7 yrs we will see its consequences. Then Jesus will return, removing all of those who rejected God, sending them to the Lake of Fire.

The ones who embraced the light, reflected the light for the world to see. will live with God.

Do you realize that all messages that add to or subtract from Jesus crucified, buried and resurrected is under a curse. That includes the prosperity gospel, the groups that pray to saints and not directly to the Father, those groups that put tradition above the Holy scriptures, those that compromise Gods message by not condemning sin. Those who claim Jesus is equal to Satan or just a good teacher. That Mary can forgive sins a right only given to Jesus. People who claim that there are more ways to get to heaven than through Jesus. People who claim all go to heaven no matter there spiritual condition.

The Pharasees were called white washed tombs with dead mens bones in them. He was saying these men were dead. Spiritually dead. To be spiritually dead means you are lost and going to hell.

We live only once on this earth. We have only one chance to get this right. Despite my many sins, short comings and failures i hold to Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. I will die for my belief and will never compromise. I look forward to the pre trib rapture and seeing Jesus face to face. Maranatha ...

Jesus who knew no sin faces the dread of taking on His shoulders the burden of sin and it's consequences. As Jesus prays in the Garden, the disciples sleep.

The epic conclusion of the life of Jesus is coming to.a close within hours. The purpose of Jesus existence is upon Him.

His most faithful followers ignorant of the event, sleep.

What a sad fact that today many sleep and are unaware of the saving Grace of Jesus. 2 Corinthians 12 says to Paul in his affliction., "My Grace is sufficient for you." The verse continues and says "that Gods power is made strong in our weakness." The greek word for sufficient also means complete. So in essence the meaning of the verse means" in our human weakness, despite our short comings, failures and dysfunctionalism ... God in His all completing Grace, completes us. His strength and power compensate for our short comings, come along side us to fix us.

The word even goes as far as saying that when we believe in Jesus he will bring our messed up lives to complete His purposes and bring it to a good conclusion.Philippians 1:6

What a wonderful gift from God.
