“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”
Some days the hardest thing is not doing—but waiting. You want answers, movement, clarity… but everything feels paused. In those moments, patience is not weakness—it is trust in action.
After trying repeatedly to fix things in his career, Daniel reached a point where nothing seemed to work. Instead of forcing outcomes, he stepped back, stayed consistent, and allowed time to unfold.
Slowly, direction became clearer.
Not every silence means delay.
Sometimes it means
God is working quietly.

- Then the LORD became angry with Moses.
Exodus 4:14, NLT
Do It Afraid
karanveer, when the Israelites were in slavery in Egypt, God said to Moses, “Go and tell Pharaoh to let My people go.” Moses responded, “God, I can’t do that. I don’t speak well. I stutter.” Moses was saying, “God, You didn’t give me that gift. I’m afraid. Send someone with that skill.” He kept making excuse after excuse, and finally God became angry with him. He was not angry because Moses had flaws. He wasn’t angry because Moses stuttered. He was angry because Moses saw his gift as not enough. Moses was afraid, hiding it, thinking that he didn’t have what it takes when God said he did.
God is not displeased with us because we have weaknesses or shortcomings. He’s displeased when we’re not using the talents He’s given us, when we’re making excuses and discounting our gifts. God wouldn’t ask you to do something if He hadn’t already given you what you need. Quit discounting yourself. You have to get out of your comfort zone and do it afraid. If you play it safe all your life, you’ll never reach your full potential.
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the gifts and the talents You put in me. Thank You that You made me and whatever You ask me to do You will make sure I have the ability to do it. I will be faithful to develop what You’ve given me and be bold to step out of my comfort zone and use it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”Then the LORD became angry with Moses. - It’s amazing what will happen when our soul gets healthy. When we get free from the bitterness, the guilt, the stress, the worry, the anger, that’s when healing is released. That’s when you’ll see the blessing of God in new ways. It’s amazing what will happen when our soul gets healthy. - Verse:
Isaiah 41:13 (NIV) — “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
Encouragement:
Fear makes everything feel heavier. It clouds judgment, steals peace, and makes you forget Who’s walking with you. But God’s not distant—He’s close enough to hold your hand.
You don’t have to fake confidence or have it all figured out. Just take the next step, knowing He’s right there. If He said “I will help you,” then He will. Period.
Prayer:
God, fear has been louder than I want to admit. But I don’t want to walk through this alone or in my own strength. Help me remember that You’re holding my hand. Give me courage to keep going, even when I’m unsure. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV) — “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
Encouragement:
You don’t have to hide the fact that you’re struggling. God isn’t looking for perfection—He’s looking for surrender. His strength shows up where yours runs out.
It’s not about being strong all the time. It’s about knowing where to run when you’re not. His grace fills the gaps, carries the weight, and reminds you that even in weakness—you’re never alone.
Prayer:
Lord, I don’t feel strong right now. But You said Your power works best in my weakness, so I’m giving it all to You. Be my strength. Fill the spaces I can’t fill myself. Thank You for loving me even when I fall short.
