You might not see any signs today, but things are already happening behind the scenes. Maybe your situation looks dark right now, and it feels as though nothing is changing. You might feel stagnant, as if you are stuck in the same financial or emotional position you were in a year ago. Do not be deceived by the lack of visible activity. Your business is not to ask how the water will come, where it will come from, or what the source will be. Your business is simply to trust that the valley will be filled. God has declared that His Word is like the rain; just as the rain does not fall to the ground without fulfilling its purpose of watering the earth, so His Word will never return to Him void. It must accomplish what He sent it to do. If He has said you will not be disgraced, then disgrace is not your portion. If He has said you will have more than enough in hard times, then abundance is your reality regardless of the economic index. You simply need to align yourself with this promise. When you wake up in the morning, let your first words be a confession of this truth: 'Lord, I thank You that even in hard times, I have more than enough. I will not be disgraced.
