Brothers and Sisters in Christ - may I ask for your prayers? Our "baby" is a 7-year old German Shepherd Dog. She is the love of our lives and I think we are hers. We just found out Thursday that she has cancer. I was talking to God on my way home from work that day and very clearly heard the words Trust Me. I'm not sure if it was a question or a statement, but my response was Yes, God, I Trust You. But as we know, sometimes it's just natural that our earthly concerns take over. Sasha is my husband's emotional support animal. We have requested an appointment with a surgeon but we also know that veterinary surgeries, like human surgeries, are costly. I never pray for money, but I do pray for the ability to take care of her properly. Please keep us all in your prayers. Thank you. (The picture is from when she was very young.)

Happy Sunday All - what did you do to celebrate Palm Sunday today? As a Christian, it's hard to use the word "celebrate" on one hand, but on the other, we KNOW that It was all part of the plan. The plan to save us from ourselves. We celebrated today by lifting voices to the heavens - well, those who can sing did that! Our church was blessed with the music of the season AND we welcomed a new couple as part of our family. What a glorious day!

This verse keeps me grounded and I would say is one of my favorite verses?

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

It has been a while since I've posted. So much has happened personally and globally. Even as Christians we question some of these experiences. But we know we have to turn everything over to God - He has almighty control. Many people's lives will never be the same. Yet I read and hear the comments of having faith. That's it, folks. We HAVE to keep the faith and know that God's got this.
