Thought Of The Day...
There comes a point in every believer’s walk where we must decide whose approval matters most. Paul draws a clear line in Galatians 1:10: you cannot live for the applause of people and truly serve Christ at the same time.
People’s approval shifts like the wind. One day they cheer, the next they criticize. But God’s approval is steady, holy, and eternal. When Paul says, “If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ,” he is reminding us that the call of Christ demands focus, courage, and conviction.
To serve Christ means:
• You may be misunderstood
• You may be criticized
• You may lose some relationships
• You may walk a path that others don’t understand
But you will gain what matters most: the smile and approval of God.
When you live to please God, He strengthens you. He guides you. He defends you. He goes before you. And He fills your life with purpose that human applause can never produce.
Today, silence the noise and ask yourself:
“Lord, what do YOU want from me?”
When you live for an audience of One, you walk in freedom.

• Am I more concerned with what people think or what God desires?
• Who have I been trying to please that is pulling me away from my purpose?
• What step can I take today to align myself with God’s approval?

Prayer...
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for reminding me that Your approval is all I need. Deliver me from the trap of people-pleasing. Strengthen my heart to walk boldly in Your will, even when others don’t understand. Shape my desires so that I seek to honor You above all else. Make me a true servant of Christ—faithful, steadfast, and focused. Today, I choose Your voice over the voice of the crowd. Lead me, guide me, and empower me. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
