I want you to see the proper place for you to put your faith.

1 Corinthians 2:5

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Let's explore a deep truth: God does not require a divided self. In Jewish tradition, we speak of the Yetzer Tov (the inclination toward good) and the Yetzer Hara (the inclination toward self/desire). Usually, we try to kill the second one. But we need to bring both inclinations under the authority of the Father.

St. John has given the best dramatic introduction to God-Man Jesus without even mentioning Jesus' name until the 16th verse yet anyone who reads it feels that it is Jesus Christ he was talking about. And... I say... That's writing!

God's word and work must be preeminent in your life over your culture & traditions.

The person God uses has scars!
