TUESDAY 24TH JUNE, 2025.

TOPIC: SIGNS OF THE END.

SCRIPTURE: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. MATTHEW 24:38-39.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Do not get ready, live ready!

Several events around us confirm that we are at the very end of time as prophesied in the Scripture (Matthew 24). The truth is, one day, time shall stand still, and it will be no longer, when all shall end; every earthly activity shall be halted.

Now, what are the signs that make us know that we are at the end of time?

1. The abundance of iniquity. We live in a world where there is a multiplication of iniquity. We see people’s lives, including innocent babies, being wasted without conscience, immorality is on the increase, corruption has eaten deep into systems, etc.

2. Deficiency of passion or love for God (Matthew 24:12). Many Christians who were on fire for God are gradually losing their fire.

3. Strength reduction (2 Timothy 3:1). The strength of many Christians has drastically reduced. There are Christians who stay without fasting or study of the Word for weeks and even months. Praying is a challenge.

4. Abundance of unbelief. Many people do not believe that the end is near. Many do not believe that there is heaven and there is hell.

5. Existence for pleasure. Many people exist just for fleshly pleasure: immorality, alcoholism, materialism, etc. the flesh has become the god of many people.

6. Blindness to eternity. Many people are living as though everything starts and ends in this world.

Beloved, these are my counsels:

a. Refuse to be a victim of the season. Refuse to be swallowed up by the plague of the end time.

b. Watch your life. Be on your guard (Matthew 24:42, 1 Corinthians 12:12).

c. Live ready (Matthew 24:44). Do not get ready, live ready in everything because the curtains of time can be drawn at any time.

REMEMBER THIS: Do not get ready, live ready!

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Avoid the lifestyle of sin and make demands on God to help you live for Him.
2. Live with the consciousness of eternity every day.

PRAYER: Lord, draw me closer to Your Heart. I receive the grace to please You in everything I do, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
