But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
[4] Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Obscene stories and coarse jokes are so common that we begin to think they are fine and normal. Paul cautions, however, that improper language should have no place in the Christian’s conversation because it does not reflect God’s gracious presence in us. How can we praise God and remind others of his goodness when we are speaking crudely?

I believe that the greatest thing that we can ever do is put the Word in the next generation, bible quizzing is one of the greatest ways to do this, my daughter bible quizzed and it's been almost ten years since she aged out of it, and still reatains almost 4000 scriptures book, chapter, and verse, and now my grand daughter is doing it, her team placed first, and she was highest scoring quizzer of the tournament.
