Godly Contentment is another virtue that validates Grace. I remember vividly that it is stated in the Bible that "let your conversation be without conveteousness, and be contented with what you have," so you can proudly say the Lord is my helper. You can't claim to be saved and not practice contentment. Contentment is appreciating what you have and consider it enough even if it is little or of no value or beauty. God is not saying live on less but there are times the much you have is exulsted and now have very little to live on. You have to be content. Salvation is the act of being saved from the wretching situations of life and preserved unto eternal life. And grace plays a vital role on this. Faith validates Grace while doubt erraces Grace. You can't claim to find Grace when everything about you speaks doubt. Faith is also made valid by Conviction, by Confession, and by Commitment. Apostle Paul speaking says, "I am persuaded that nothing shall separate me from the love of Christ," this is faith. He spoke from a convinced mind. David said "my mind is fixed," this is faith. Once you become persuaded and your mind becomes fixed about God and His righteousness (Christ), faith has be established and Grace becomes available. Faith must be confessed and must be committed to.
