For God, obedience means RELATIONSHIP!!!

Topic : Bountifulness

Verse : 2 Corinthians 9:11 KJV

[11] Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Paraphrase :

God continuously gives you all you want (riches) in all areas of your life (health, strength, friends, family, wealth, etc.). This enrichment causes us to give God all the thanks we can muster (thanksgiving ).

Lesson :

1. People may have health, strength, wealth, etc to an extent. Some may even be more than others in a persons life but not to the point that it's all are overflowing (bountiful) in a persons life.
2. The provision of all these things in a person's life to the extent where the person is lacking in none (they are in a bountiful quantity) is as a result of God's provision for the person's life.
3. This provision is one of the main cause of spontaneous thanks giving that a person offers to God.

Application :

1. I have decided to be bountiful in all aspects of my life according to the provision of God.
2. He (God) knows what He has provided and prepared for me. I will therefore follow His instruction in making use of His provisions so that i may abound in all areas of my life.
3. I will make it a point to give God thanks, knowing that no matter my circumstances, He has already provided and will surely cause me to abound in every area of my life.

Prayer:

Lord God, thank You for how much You care about me and how much You desire so make me bountiful. Help me to walk the path that you have set for me so that I may not only be blessed but I will be a blessing to others.
