Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Psalm 60:11

Nothing supercedes the help of God. While we do not disregard the help we receive from men, we do understand that the help of men has limitations. So our focus is on the Lord whose help has no limitations.
Our true help comes from God while man is a channel to execute His help.
Today, I speak the manifestation of the LORD in every area of your life.

There is a company of men God delights in making great. And that company is made up of men and women that have given themselves to publishing His Gospel, making known His marvelous works and sacrificing to advance God's kingdom. These people are special in the heart of God because they have become partners of God in furthering His kingdom agenda and saving souls.
There is no company greater than this because this has eternal recognition, placement and value.
Today, the gracious Lord is inviting you to enlist yourself into this great company by making a commitment to advance His kingdom where you are and with the resources you have. Nothing rejoices the heart of the Lord like seeing you taking upon yourself the advancement of His kingdom.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Psalm 51:4

Two factors are at the root of genuine repentance. First is humility which helps us to recognize the wrong we have done and against whom we have done it.
The second is relationship. When you offend anyone you are truly in good relationship with you will want to amend your wrong because you want the relationship to continue. If you quit a relationship because of one perceived wrong action then you were not really intimate with the person, you were there for yourself.
Humility and relationship brought David to his knees seeking repentance before the Lord. He knew he offended God and wanted to make this right. He didn't want to make things right and walk away but to continue deeply in his relationship with God.
Those that value true relationship will not allow anything to severe that relationship but do everything possible to maintain it.
It is proud for us not to recognise our wrong, and against whom we have sinned. Let us humble ourselves before the mighty God to seek repentance promptly and strive to grow in our relationship with Him.

As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them. Psalm 140:9

You may not be able to stop people from speaking mischievously against you, you may not be able to stop them from inciting others against you, you may not be allowed to physically confront them. But you can and are REQUIRED TO PRAY. And one prayer to pray is this scripture.
We are permitted by Scripture to ask God to allow what the enemy is speaking from their lips against us to come upon their head, they should experience the evil they are inwardly wishing us.
Don't be silent about the mischief from the lips of wicked people, address it in the place of prayer and watch your God fight on your behalf.
I decree that the evil people are planning, wishing and speaking against you become their life experience from this day forward in Jesus mighty name. Amen

It gives great peace of mind knowing where your help comes from. The reason some people get offended at people, hate others and disconnect from some people is because they made those people their source of help. And when they failed, they got disappointed.
Long ago, the Lord taught me that He is my help, and He alone decides who or what to use to execute His help in my life.
Therefore keep you eyes off men, systems, organizations as your source of help. Until God initiates the help, no man or system is capable enough to execute it.
Remind constantly yourself that YOUR HELP COMES FROM GOD WHO MADE THE HEAVEN AND EARTH. And learn to fix your gaze on He. While you do this, expect Him to use any one or any means to carry out His help in your life.
The LORD is your helper.

Welcome to September.

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2

God has an eternal purpose for bringing us into this month of September. And one major thing He wants to achieve in our lives this month is to be our present help. God has a help agenda for you this month, and as a result you shall never be stranded because at the right time the HELP OF GOD will manifest for your turnaround.
Therefore this month, we are expected to do everything possible to position ourselves for the experience of the help of God.
Our help does not come from man. It comes from God through man and any other means seem fit by the Lord.
Your testimony shall be the LORD has helped me throughout this month.
This month, no loss, no shame, no breakdown, no lack or begging because the help of God shall be your experience in Jesus mighty name.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Romans 16:17

While the Scripture admonishes us to love one another, it also reveals those we should avoid. And one of such categories of people to avoid which are those that cause division amongst us. We are not to hate them but to avoid them. Matter of fact, it is love to avoid them.
They cause division by inciting others to hate another, bring gossip, give wrong interpretation, misinformation and always point out what is wrong or what is not done so as to bring conflict that leads to division. They are always offended and everything gets them angry. This is a tool in their hands to cause division.
These kind of people will always find a way into our midst: in the church, family, business and association, and the best way to handle them is to AVOID THEM.
Don't just relate with people, mark who they are and give them their rightful place. Don't mingle with people that cause division, they will take you away from your blessing. Interestingly, Miriam shows us the best reward for those who cause division.

And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. Genesis 22:2

One thing that makes us rejoice is the answer to our prayers, or when we get that which we long expected. However, the blessing that we received from the Lord can become the very reason we will withdraw from God. Abraham got his promised son and that son became the object of his love. The love, time and attention he had for God was now given to his son. So, God being a jealous God, came to redirect the affection of Abraham.
Is the blessing of God in your life taking the place of God in your heart? Do you give more time to the blessings of God than God Himself? Do you love the blessing God had given you more than God who gave them to you? Is the blessing of God making you to forget God?
The blessings of God are good and needed in our lives, but may they never take the place of God in our hearts and lives.

And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 2 Kings 4:2

Life is going to present to us different challenges which we never planned for. Some may be tough, some may be a walk over, while others we will just live with them by managing them. We do not have the privilege of choosing the challenges we face. Some of the situations are what we don't have control over so we must look for help both from God and man.
However, God is so gracious that within our reach He has put the answer, solution, wisdom and people that will help us handle the challenges of life.
To the widow in this Scripture, her relationship and a pot of oil were the solution to her challenge. Her solution was within her reach. Many a time, we think looking outward will bring the solution instead of looking inward.
It is my prayer that God will always help us identify what we have that is needed to bring solution to the situation that we are faced with.
There is wisdom to manage and handle every challenge. There is solution to every challenge. This solution and wisdom is never far from us. Let us stay more with the LORD who will open our eyes to see the solution for every situation. SELAH

He keeps giving us testimonies proving His faithfulness unto us.

And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. 1 Kings 17:7

At a critical times, God sent Elijah to the brook to be sustained while ravens brought bread to him. However, after a while the brook dried up, so God gave him another instruction. The brook dried up but God never dried.
Simply put, our trust must be on God not on the blessings of God. Once our trust is resting solely on God then no matter what happens to the blessing, the job, money, business and relationship will not bring us down because God will always make a way for us.
Thank God for the brook (BLESSING), but keep your trust in God. Remember, WHEN THE BROOK DRIES UP, GOD NEVER DRIES. HE WILL ALWAYS SHOW UP FOR THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM.
IT IS GOD THAT SUSTAINS US THROUGH THE BROOK. AND HE CAN DECIDE WHICH BROOK OR MEANS TO SUSTAIN US.

But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron. 2 Samuel 15:10

Absalom hired men as spies who he sent to all tribes of Israel to incite the people to hate and rebel against the king, his father David because he wanted to become the next king. Even David's major advisor Ahithophel, ministers and many of his army where bought over and began to conspire against David.
There are people who take delight in inciting people against others. They speak what will make people to hate others.
Absalom is a son that incites people against even his father. Absalom is a believer that speaks words that would make people to hate others in the church, and leave the church. Absalom is always buying people to himself by making himself look better than others while making them hate others.
Absalom incites people to rebel against their leaders.
Don't be an Absalom and don't allow an Absalom make you hate others, rebel against your leader, or hate those that you once loved.

King Saul was a chief enemy of David. He tried every means to kill him and when he could not, he killed those who withheld information from him that could have led to him killing David. He hunted for David day and night, from mountains to valleys, from cities to villages, from the room to the palace.
Yet, when David heard of Saul's death, he lamented calling Saul THE BEAUTY OF ISRAEL.
No matter how bad someone is to you, he is still good to others.
No matter how bad someone may be to you, there is something good in that person.
David teaches us to focus on the beauty in people and not their ugliness.
For David, the beauty of Israel was not the garden but one person called Saul because he was anointed of the Lord.
David kept seeing the anointing of God upon Saul and not his human weakness. And even in his death, David kept to that.
Let's learn to see the good in people. Telling people how bad others are will never make you good.

It is important to know that we don't have the ability and privilege to select or determine the challenges we would face in life. But, we can determine how to respond or react to them. Some challenges will happen just to expose the people around us so we can know who they truly are and their inner thoughts towards us. David's own people whom he has led, trained, blessed and sacrificed for considered stoning him because of the challenge they were facing at that time. David was not the cause of the challenge but they wanted to kill him for it. Yet, instead of David fighting back and defending himself, he chose to encourage himself in the Lord. He turned to God and eventually he overcame the challenge.
Please, I want to encourage you to respond to every challenge by running to God. He will give you the best strategy to approach the situation. People may react to you because of their person frustration and disappointment. So, don't be quick to react to them. Learn to be calm and seek the LORD for a way out.
Seeking God is key to winning in life. You will win.

God never fails doing showing up. We are a proof of His faithfulness

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. 1 Samuel 1:10

Hannah was a victim of love which made the Lord to close her womb while making her mate whom her husband does not love as her to have children. Her mate, Penninah, took that opportunity to become her adversary. Mockery, insult, denial, etc were her daily experience which made her to be bitter and full of sorrow.
However Hannah taught us something unique: instead of fighting back, she channelled her energy and strength to praying to God. She knew fighting her mate will not bring the result that can put an end to the mockery.
We must learn to direct our strength to the place that brings the result we desire. There are situations you must only respond to by talking to God.
Fight the good fight.
