- Your Theology
Years ago I was in a theology class.
We were reading through accounts of men and women who had changed entire continents for Christ, won whole nations and people groups to the glory of God, drove out demon worship, stopped cannibalism, and so on.
Then it dawned on me.
We were sitting there criticizing their theology and laughing about how much more we know than they did.
Early believers had "worse" theology and conquered the world. We have "better" theology and are surrendering it.
I think we have forgotten what theology even means.
Theology is not what you recite.
It is what you do. Because a person can learn to say anything, but you will only do what you truly believe.

- The Cure Has Come -- And You Know It.
Let me speak plainly to something I hear constantly from people who want a reason not to believe.
"The Bible endorses rape."
"The Bible endorses genocide."
"The God of the Old Testament is a monster."
I want to address this honestly, because it deserves a real answer, not a dodge.
First, the facts.
The Bible does not endorse rape.
It records it -- and condemns it.
The violation of Dinah in Genesis 34 ends in devastating consequences for the perpetrators.
The rape of Tamar in 2 Samuel 13 is treated as an abomination.
Scripture is filled with the brutal reality of human sin precisely because it is an honest book.
Recording evil is not the same as approving it. If a history book describes the Holocaust, it is not endorsing it.
But here is what I really want you to see.
Many people say, "If it were just the New Testament, I could believe."
Let me be direct with you: that is not true. We have the New Testament. It is right there. Jesus is in it. His resurrection is in it.
His love, His sacrifice, His grace, all of it is right there. And most who make that argument still do not believe.
So the Old Testament objection is not the real issue.
It is a place to stand while keeping God at arm's length.
Here is the truth about why the Old Testament looks the way it does and it is not complicated once you see it.
Imagine a disease. It is deadly.
It is spreading up a person's arm toward their heart.
There is no cure. In that moment, the merciful thing, the only thing that saves the patient's life, is to remove the arm.
It is severe. It looks brutal to someone who does not understand what is happening. But the alternative is death.
That is the Old Testament.
Sin is that disease. It is lethal. It spreads.
It destroys families, nations, generations. And in the Old Testament era, there was no cure. The blood of bulls and goats could not remove it. It could only be covered, temporarily, year after year.
So what you see in the Old Testament is something severe: laws, regulations, judgments, consequences, because you are watching a Holy God govern a fallen, unredeemed people with no cure available.
The strictness was not cruelty.
It was containment.
It was mercy in the only form that was possible.
Then the cure came.
The blood of Jesus Christ did what the law never could. It does not cover sin -- it removes it. It does not manage the fallen nature -- it replaces it with a new one.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
This is the change.
This is why the New Testament feels different.
Not because God changed.
Not because He decided the rules no longer mattered.
But because the cure arrived.
Now, instead of governing fallen people with law from the outside, God can transform people from the inside.
Now we can be born again. Now we can become children of God.
The Old Testament was always pointing here. Every sacrifice, every law, every consequence was the finger of God pointing forward to the Lamb who would take away the sin of the world.
So no, the Old Testament does not embarrass me. It makes me grateful.
It shows me how serious sin is, how costly the cure was, and how extravagant the love of God is that He pursued us anyway.
The cure has come.
The question is not whether you have enough objections.
The question is whether you want to be healed.

- The christianity that changes the world.
Kingdom Power
There Is No Neutral Ground
In this message, Robbie Patterson walks through one of the most strategically precise arguments Jesus ever made -- and shows why it leaves no room for fence-sitting.
Matthew 12:29-30 isn't just a pair of verses. It's a logical sequence with a trap door built into it.
Jesus establishes the cosmic war framework first: the strong man has been bound, the enemy's house is being plundered, and what the Pharisees are witnessing isn't sorcery -- it's a raid.
Then He drops the verdict: Whoever is not with me is against me.
There is no bleacher section on this battlefield.
But modern secular culture has been working overtime to convince people that the bleachers exist.
Every message coming out of entertainment, education, and public life is pushing people toward the same comfortable middle: don't commit, don't declare, keep your options open.
"I wasn't raised that way." "I'm still figuring it out."
"I'm spiritual but not religious."
"That's just your culture talking."
The enemy doesn't need people to openly reject Jesus.
He just needs them to stay undecided -- because Jesus Himself said that undecided is already a side.
The man who won't gather is scattering. The person who won't declare for Christ is, by the logic of Matthew 12, already against Him -- whether they realize it or not. That's not a harsh interpretation. That's what Jesus said.
This message also takes on one of the most common objections used to keep people in that neutral zone -- the demographics argument.
"You only believe because of where you were born. If you'd been raised in Asia, you'd be Buddhist."
It sounds like wisdom. It's actually self-defeating. We'll show you exactly why -- and why Jesus' logic in Matthew 12 is the answer to it.
Key points covered:
Why Jesus moves from the strong man (v. 29) directly to "with me or against me" (v. 30) -- and why the sequence is the argument.
How the Pharisees thought they were referees but Jesus declared them combatants.
How secular culture manufactures a false neutral zone -- and why the enemy wants people to stay there.
Why "I wasn't raised that way" and "I'm still deciding" are not safe positions.
The demographics objection dismantled: origin is not the same as truth
What this means for the church's call to advance, not retreat.
The strong man is bound.
The house is being plundered.
The only question left is which side of that you're on.

- National Day of Prayer | Defeating the Spirit of Defeat | Robbie Patterson
Undersheriff & Chaplain Robbie Patterson was asked to deliver a challenge message at this year's National Day of Prayer -- and he delivered.
The nations that received the gospel before us changed the world.
That was the Great Commission working. But much of the Church traded the full Gospel of the Kingdom for a gospel that saves the soul and abandons public responsibility and the world paid the price.
In too many instances, believers see darkness advancing, nod, and step aside as if it is God's desire.
We now see darkness invading much of Europe and large parts of America, and it goes almost totally unchallenged.
This message confronts the defeatist mindset that has paralyzed much of the Church and handed generations over to ideologies with no God, no purpose, and no hope.
But we see what is happening and we understand that it does not have to happen in our generation.
It does not have to happen on our watch.
It does not have to happen today.
We still have the Great Commission.
We still have the Holy Spirit.
We can still stand in the power of the name of Jesus.
And this is our watch.

- There is a misconception running through our culture today -- and it has even crept into the way many Christians present the gospel.
People approach God like a consumer.
Like He owes them a pitch.
"Tell me what your God can do for me. Why should I believe in your Jesus? Why is your religion better than mine?"
That is the wrong question.
And it reveals the wrong posture.
Here is the reality:
We live in a fallen world in open rebellion against its Creator.
The problem isn't that God hasn't proven Himself.
The problem is that we are the ones who owe a debt we cannot pay.
God didn't ignore that. He sent His Son. Jesus lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose from the grave. The debt has been paid. The door is open.
That is not a sales pitch. That is a pardon.
And now this: "The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8
Paul calls this vengeance.
That word matters.
Vengeance is not random punishment. Vengeance is the just return of a wrong willfully committed.
It is consequence meeting choice. It is the scales of justice finally, fully balanced. God does not act in spite here. He acts in righteousness.
The vengeance falls on those who know not God and those who obey not the gospel -- because both were available to them.
That is the part people miss.
To stand before God in judgment claiming ignorance or inability is to do yourself and God a profound injustice.
Anyone, anywhere, at any time, who seeks God with all of their heart -- will find Him.
That is not a suggestion. That is a promise straight from the mouth of God.
"Ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Jer 29:13.
And anyone who has heard the gospel can obey the gospel. Not because they are strong enough. Not because they have it together. But because the power to respond does not come from you -- it comes from God.
He does not command what He will not enable.
The grace that saves is the same grace that draws, and that drawing is available to every soul who will stop demanding that God justify Himself and simply turn.
The ball is in our court.
Not because God put us in an impossible position.
Because He did everything necessary to make it possible.
Know God. Obey the gospel. Do it now.

- Kingdom Mission
The Kingdom of God is not shrinking.
It is advancing.
But for a season, much of the church forgot that. We traded the Kingdom mission for a privatized faith -- real enough to affect us, but domesticated enough to leave the world untouched.
And while we kept faith contained, Christian nations began committing suicide.
The foundations cracked. Darkness moved into every space the church abandoned.
A false theology let it happen. The assumption underneath everything was that history is just winding down and there is nothing meaningful left to build.
Surrender got dressed up as theology.
Fatalism got dressed up as faith.
But something is shifting. The church is waking up.
🗝Jesus launched His entire ministry with the Kingdom: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17).
🗝He told Nicodemus you must be born again just to see it (John 3:3).
🗝He told His followers to seek it above everything else (Matthew 6:33).
From the first word of His ministry to the last -- it was always the Kingdom. That has not changed.
Every generation that forgot it paid a devastating price.
Every generation that grasped it shook the world.
"The kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21)
And once it is within you, it cannot stay there.
A Kingdom that only lives inside you and never moves through you has not been fully received.
It was never meant to be contained. It was meant to advance.
Through you. Into every room, every relationship, every corner of the world you touch.

Christ Is King -- Live Like It.
#ChristIsKingLiveLikeIt #CiKM↕️Kingdom Mission↕️ The Kingdom of God is not shrinking. ➡️ But something is shifting. ➡️ Every generation that forgot it paid a devastating price. ➡️ Every generation that grasped it shook the world. "The kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21) And once it is within you, it cannot stay there. A Kingdom that only lives inside you and never moves through you has not been fully received. It was never meant to be contained. It was meant to advance. Through you. Into every room, every relationship, every corner of the world you touch. You were not saved to survive. You were saved to advance. - Some criticize the Church to win applause from secular and political crowds, and nobody says a word.
But call the Church to be more Christ-like, more courageous, more Kingdom-advancing, and suddenly you're the problem.
That's not discernment.
That's spiritually dangerous.
Condemnation comes from the devil.
Conviction comes from the Holy Spirit.
Both say something is wrong.
Only the Holy Spirit says make it right.
Tearing down the Church for cultural approval is the work of the enemy.
Calling the Church higher is the work of the Spirit.
Don't confuse the two, and don't let that confusion silence the voices the Body of Christ needs most.

- As a cop, I've investigated individuals labeled as "no good dirtbags" who turned out to be decent people.
I've also investigated individuals considered "upstanding citizens" who were revealed to be horrible people.
You can't place much value on anyone's opinion of another person's character.
