Title: The Joy of Creation
Scripture:
“When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy…”
— Job 38:7 (NKJV)
Devotional Thought:
Before the earth had mountains or oceans, before time began ticking, there was a moment when all creation stood still in awe—and then sang. The “morning stars” lifted their voices, and the “sons of God,” the heavenly beings, shouted for joy. Why? Because the Creator had spoken, and the universe responded with beauty, light, and life.
This verse gives us a glimpse into the wonder of creation’s beginning. It wasn’t a quiet event. It was filled with worship, celebration, and uncontainable joy. The angels didn’t just observe; they rejoiced.
That same joy still echoes in creation today. Every sunrise, every blooming flower, every heartbeat points to the same divine origin. As believers, we are invited into that joy. No matter what darkness we may face, we carry within us the light and joy of our Creator. Let no one steal that from you.

When was the last time you paused to rejoice in God’s creation?
What might it look like for you to live today in that same joy the angels expressed?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the beauty of Your creation and the joy it brings. Help me to see the world with wonder, to hear Your song in the stars, and to join the chorus of praise. Let nothing and no one steal the joy You have placed within me. Amen.
