"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9"
God had already told Joshua to be strong and courageous in Joshua 1:7. In verse 9 He had to remind Joshua again to be strong and courageous because Joshua had forgotten what God had told him in verse 7.
Moses was gone from the scene and God replaced him with Joshua; Joshua did not believe that he could do it-he was still living in shock at the sudden demise of Moses. It happens when a person loses a dear one all of a sudden.
When the Word of God came to Joshua the second time, he believed it and was able to lead the Israelites to the promised land. Beloved, what tasks has the Lord committed into your hands? God is also telling you to be strong and courageous to accomplish. Don't be afraid, for the Holy Ghost is with you! ShalomQUICK REMINDER "Have not I commanded thee? 2 Corinth. 4:16-18 [16] For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day [17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; [18] while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Apostle Paul acknowledged that *there is an outward man and an inward man.* The outward man, which is the body, may grow old, but the inward man is made of the soul and the spirit which should be daily renewed or refreshed by the Word of God, do not have an end.
He goes on to further explain that we should consider all the afflictions in our life as light because they have eternal benefits. Finally, he threw light on our focus: there are temporal and eternal things, and our focus should be on the eternal things.
Beloved, can you say like Apostle Paul: "For which cause we faint not..." with our focus on Christ and Eternity, we have no reason to faint. Hallelujah. "The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. Psalm 16:5"
The psalm above shows how the Psalmist was very intimate with God. We must also ask ourselves how intimate we are with God. The Psalmist considered God as his inheritance and his cup.
We are living in an era where people are amassing wealth without the fear of God; even materialism has entered into the house of God. However, there are still remnants of Christians who have made the Lord their inheritance. Are you one of them?
When the Lord is your inheritance, favour will always be on you so you can boldly declare, "the lines have fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have goodly heritage." Beloved, is the Lord your most precious inheritance? Let him be. ShalomTHE LORD IS MY INHERITANCE "The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. I am trying to meet a target of 2000 people and I hope you are one of them.
Let's educate our children on the importance of speaking up.
Some parents invest substantial amounts in luxury items , yet struggle to allocate minimal funds for essential resources that ensure their children's safety in today's challenging world.
Did you know that children are less likely to report unsafe situations if they think they'll get in trouble? I wrote a picture book that teaches children it's always okay to tell a trusted adult when something feels wrong. We need to protect our children by all means possible.

"Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17"
The apostle Paul wanted the saints to develop the attitude of always loving to commune with God. He also wanted us to know that prayer is a lifestyle and not an event.
Finally, the apostle wanted us to know that the Holy Ghost is always looking forward to meeting us at the point of prayer. God is never tired of listening to His children's prayers. In fact, the prayers of His children are like incense (Psalms 141:2).
The children of God need to feast on prayer: prayer should be enjoyed and looked forward to. Beloved, do you enjoy praying to God. - EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20"
The Holy Spirit is in us and at work in us; we must be conscious of His working in us. He is the power at work in us.
The question is what do we ask and how do we ask it? Another question is what do we think? If what you ask and how you ask are not approved by the Word of God, God will not do them; likewise if what you think is not sanctioned by the Word of God, God will not do it. This is simply because the power at work in us works hand in hand with God.

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: Matthew 7:24"
God has a way of measuring who is wise and who is not wise; *His criterion is based on who is obedient to his Word.* Those who are doing his Word are referred to as wise and those who are not doing his Word are referred to as simple or foolish.
Doing the Word has good reward but disobedience to his Word has just punishment. The one who hears the Word and does it is building his/her life on the rock and the one who hears the Word and ignores it is building his/her life on the sand. Both builders are tested by the rain, flood, and wind.
The one who built on the rock stood the test; in fact it was not shaken by the rain, flood, and the wind. The one who built on the sand fell and great was the fall.
Now those who take advantage of the grace of God to do the Word of God are prepared to withstand the pressures of life but those who reject grace to please themselves are preparing themselves to fail in life.
Beloved, be wise. Be a doer. Don't just listen, don't disobey. Be a wise person. "And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. Exodus 15:26"
The scripture has given us insight of how the children of God can avoid diseases and all forms of ailing situations.
The keys to avoid diseases are to diligently hearken - a life of obedience. To do right - make right choices in life, pay attention to God's Word, and keeping it in our heart. First of all to diligently hearken is to listen to the Word of God with the aim of putting it to action.
Secondly, doing right means acting on the Word of God the way He wants it to be done. And thirdly, paying attention is to listen to God in all details.
Lastly, keeping His Word is to make conscious effort to retain the Word in our heart and mind. These four keys work hand in hand. And once active in our life, we will live an all-round healthy life.
Jesus Christ has made things easy for us to please God by giving us his grace and the Holy Spirit. Hence, it is easy for a Christian to win the war against disease and also live all round healthy. "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22"
This is one example of scriptures that assures us that *we can have all things.*
The world teaches that resources are scarce and you cannot have everything: this is a poor mindset from the devil.
God says we can have all things; the only condition attached is to believe that you have received what you have asked for and you shall have it.

LOVE NOT THE WORLD
1 John 2:15 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
No wonder the bible says you cannot serve two masters. You will love one more than the other. Mat. 6:24 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
You will tilt towards one at the detriment of the other. You can not love the Lord and the world. That is two parallel lines that can never meet, let alone, uniting. You cannot love the world and claim you love the father. "...If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him?"
The facts of the bible is so glaring. Be sincere with yourself, where do you belong? Do you love the Lord or the world. Your decision determines your destiny. Where you pitch your tent determines your habitation. The biblical injunction is that: - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind - Matthew 22:37; Deut. 6:5 .
