Power and wealth are dangerous when they become our pursuit instead of God's purpose.

Many people chase influence and riches at any cost. When the heart is consumed by the desire for more, it can give birth to pride, greed, corruption, and every kind of sinful desire.

Power and wealth are not evil—but without wisdom, humility, and the fear of God, they become dangerous masters.

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." — 1 Timothy 6:10

Reflection: Don't seek what can elevate your status. Seek what shapes your character. Let God entrust you with influence and resources only as your heart becomes faithful enough to steward them.
