  • The Love of Christ

    It wasn’t carved in stone,
    It bled on wood.
A love too wide for oceans,
Too fierce for death to hold.

Hands that flung galaxies into space
    Reached down for dust—
    And called it treasure.

    Nails did not bind Him,
    Love did.
Crown of thorns became a crown of mercy,
    Every drop of blood—
    A whispered, “You are Mine.”

I search for love in fleeting things,
    But find it here:
At a cross where justice kissed grace,
    Where eternity broke through time.

    No failure too deep,
    No shadow too dark,
    That His light cannot break,
    That His arms cannot embrace.

    The love of Christ—
    Not earned, not bought,
    But given.
    Unstoppable, unshakable,
    Forever.
