Just feeling thankful today for a warm and cozy home that we live in on the west coast of Canada. My heart is heavy for our neighbours to the South in California. We are praying for the winds to calm and rain and for the safety for all involved.

Good morning everyone. What a nice feeling to open the drapes and see a bit of sunshine! I am on the west coast of Canada on Vancouver Island and we get a lot of rain during the winter. I love The Bible verse "the joy of the Lord is my strength" Nehemiah 8:10: We can find joy in God always, even through long, gloomy, wet west coast winters, when we choose to find joy in all the goodness He brings to our lives.
