In the ark of the covenant, God commanded three items be kept. The ten commandment slabs, Aaron's staff, and a gold jar of manna. Manna symbolizes God's provision to His people. Here' the interesting part. Manna was designed to last one day. If the Israelites kept it overnight, it will rot and bred worms. It is perishable by design except on 2 occasions. The 1st was Sabbath. On the sixth day, they gathered double portion and kept it overnight, and this time it did not rot and no worms bred. The 2nd exception was on the ark. One jar of that perishable manna was placed before God and it stayed fresh for generations. Did you see the pattern on this? Manna decays on its own. But connected to God's presence (the ark), to His rest, the decay stops. We see, outside of God's presence, your resources, your energy, your joy carry an expiration date. But centered on Him, He preserves what should have rotted. And your daily bread becomes an eternal Supply Blessed Sunday.😴
