*God’s Covenant Promise*

*Scripture*

> “And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord.”

*The God Who Keeps His Word*

God spoke these words to the Israelites when they were weary and burdened under slavery. They could hardly imagine freedom, much less possession of a land flowing with milk and honey. Yet God reminded them of His covenant made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

*This verse is a reminder that:*

God never forgets His promises. What He swore to the patriarchs, He intended to fulfill.

God gives His people an inheritance. Their deliverance was not just about freedom from slavery—it was about stepping into a God-given destiny.

God’s authority guarantees His word. He closes with “I am the Lord,” as if to say, My identity ensures My promise.


When life feels like captivity and hope seems far away, this verse teaches us to trust in God’s unfailing covenant-keeping nature.

Faithful God, thank You for being the covenant-keeping Lord. Even when I doubt, Your promises remain true. Strengthen me to trust Your word, walk in faith, and wait with hope for the fulfillment of all You have promised. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
