I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian. I love theology and exemplify the Church and it's history and tradition handed to us for 2000 years since the first Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.

- So I had my first confession today and it was very spiritual and relieving. The grace of God is infinite and glorious. I really want people to understand that repentance only comes from admitting your sins and owning up to them. Christ establishted the sacrament of confession and the ability for the priests through Jesus Christ, to forgive sins on earth.
John 20:22-23 ESV
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”
Obviously there are many more references to the priests having authority to bind things on earth and in heaven (Mathew 16:19)So I had my first confession today and it was very spiritual and relieving. - So ever since becoming an Orthodox convert, I more and more realize how much Christianity has been sissied and become so easy to infiltrate our faith and allow other religions (i.e islam) where it has taken advantage of protestant Christianity and non denominations whom think that being a Christian is being peacful. Christ never was this sissy, this peacful man these protestants paint our Lord to be, but He was a fighter. He rebuked even the Pharisees and Saducees and "fought" with them. Orthodoxy has history, has Saints and martyrs, filled with the Holy Spirit and then you have these protestants removing the organism that is the Church and the people who fought for it. In Albania you have these fake christians not knowing the glory of Christ and accepting false ideologies and to strip away the sacrifice thay is Christ. I am angry. I am sad. I am disappointed, in these people whom call themselves Christians and don't fight for Christ. Those are not Christians whom are scared to go out in the street and walk proud and proclaim the name of Christ everywhere they go. Removing traditions and removing the practices of the Church (i.e Prayer rope, praying without ceasing, hymns/psalms etc) PROPER WORSHIP. I encourage you all to go to your Orthodox Church and partake in a mass, talk to a priest or a deacon, ask. See how God is glorified, and understanding how insignificant we are before God. and every celebration that we do, every Saint we ask for intercession is all to the glorification of Christ. Please stop adding your interpretation on Christ because that is simply pride. You claiming to know God better than the very Church with 2000 years of history by the Apostles whom Christ entrusted to spread the Gospel and the good news, all these things we do come from Christ because those practices HELP US REMEMBER CHRIST AND KNOW THAY HE IS ALWAYS WITH US. God bless, peace of Christ be upon you all and; Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner. So ever since becoming an Orthodox convert, I more and more realize how much Christianity has been sissied and become so easy to infiltrate our faith and allow other religions (i.e islam) where it has taken advantage of protestant Christianity and non denominations whom think that being a Christian is being peacful. - Is there anyone who has good Scripture knowledge paired with historical and non-secular and secular history. Knowledge on the spiritual side of Christianity and understanding of the Book of Enoch (although it isn't in the Bible canon, it is still a good silhouette on differentiating between good spirits and bad ones). Essentially what I am asking is to basically create a very indepth guide on Christianity following the Orthodox or Catholic teachings (although different we are still the same Church with minute details)Is there anyone who has good Scripture knowledge paired with historical and non-secular and secular history. - So as the Lent continues and the Orthodox like myself join on the 23rd, I see that they are mostly focused on the food and the "rules" forgetting that the reason why we fast, is to purify our spirit and body, and pray, read and spend more time with our Lord. As our Lord himself fasted, it is to clean our spirit, but it is also to make a sacrifice for Him as He did a sacrifice for us.
So my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ please when you are fasting, always remember that you are fasting to "hear" God's voice and guidance clearly, to repent and to sanctify yourself more. This is my first year as a Christian and I started as non-denominational believer until I asked God where I should go, to which He guided me to the Orthodox Church. When I begin on the 23rd I really want to also help inspire people as much as possible through prayer, guidance and repentance. May the Blessings and Peace of our Messiah Christ Jesus bestow upon you all and may this Lent bring you closer to the Lord.
