  • LORD, BREAK MY HEART
When God Shatters What Pride Built

There is a prayer few people dare to pray:

    “Lord… break my heart.”

    Not because we enjoy pain.
    Not because we desire suffering.
But because there are parts of us that cannot be healed until they are broken before God.

Sometimes the greatest enemy of intimacy with God is not rebellion—it is a heart that has become hard, proud, numb, distracted, or self-sufficient.

We can sing worship songs while our hearts remain untouched.
We can attend church while resisting surrender.
We can speak about God while secretly protecting idols within us.

And so God, in His mercy, begins to break what keeps us from truly knowing Him.

    God Breaks Before He Builds

Throughout Scripture, brokenness often came before usefulness.

Jacob wrestled with God and walked away limping—but transformed.
David was crushed by repentance before he was restored.
Peter wept bitterly after denying Jesus before becoming bold in faith.

Even the woman with the alabaster jar had to break the vessel before the fragrance could fill the room.

    Brokenness is not always punishment.
    Sometimes it is preparation.

God breaks pride so humility can live.
He breaks self-reliance so dependence can grow.
He breaks earthly attachments so heavenly desire can awaken.

    Many ask God for power.
    Few ask Him for purity.

    Many want the anointing.
Few want the crushing that often comes before it.

The Danger of an Unbroken Heart

A heart that refuses to break eventually becomes hard.

    Hard hearts stop hearing conviction.
    They justify compromise.
    They lose tenderness toward God.
    Prayer becomes routine.
    Worship becomes performance.
    Obedience becomes selective.

    This is why David prayed:

“Create in me a clean heart, O God.” — Psalm 51:10

David understood something many believers forget:

God is not merely after behavior modification—He is after the condition of the heart.

Sometimes God allows disappointment, silence, correction, delay, or painful seasons not to destroy us, but to expose what is hidden inside us.

Because what remains hidden often remains unhealed.

When God Breaks You… He Stays Near

One of the greatest lies people believe is this:

“If I am broken, God must be far from me.”

    But Scripture says the opposite.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

God draws near to surrendered hearts.

    He does not despise tears.
    He does not reject repentance.
He does not ignore honest surrender.

The broken heart becomes fertile ground for transformation.

It is in brokenness that pride dies.
It is in surrender that healing begins.
It is in weakness that grace becomes visible.

Sometimes God must empty us before He can fill us.

Break Me… But Do Not Leave Me

True surrender is not merely saying:
    “Bless me, Lord.”

    It is also saying:
    “Change me, Lord.”

    Even when it hurts.

    “Break my pride.”
    “Break my stubbornness.”
“Break my love for this world.”
    “Break every hidden idol.”
“Break everything in me that resists Your will.”

    That prayer is costly.

    But it is also holy.

Because God does not break us to abandon us—
He breaks us to remake us.

    Final Thought

The most dangerous heart is not the broken heart.
    It is the untouched heart.

The heart that no longer feels conviction.
    The heart that resists surrender.
The heart that appears strong before people but distant from God.

Sometimes the greatest prayer a believer can pray is not:

    “Lord, use me.”

    But first:

    “Lord… break me.”

Because broken vessels often carry the sweetest fragrance of Christ.

  • A family that puts God at the center will never be empty. There may be trials, misunderstandings, tears, and seasons of lack, but when a home is covered by prayer, love continues to grow. The world teaches families to depend on money, success, and temporary happiness, but true peace only comes from the presence of God. A house becomes a home when Jesus is welcomed in every heart.

God is not only interested in blessing one person in the family—He desires to restore the entire household. He can heal broken relationships, remove bitterness, strengthen weak hearts, and bring unity where there was once division. Even when the world becomes darker, a family that stays faithful to God will continue to shine as a testimony of His goodness.

Never stop praying for your family. Pray for your parents, your children, your spouse, and even those family members who have become distant from God. Heaven listens to every sincere prayer. In the right time, God can change hearts, restore joy, and pour out blessings more than you can imagine.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

A blessed family is not a perfect family, but a family that continues to trust God through every season.

  • THE POWER OF A RENEWED MIND
When God Changes Your Thinking… He Changes Your Life

You can sit in church, hear truth, and still live defeated—because transformation does not begin in your surroundings… it begins in your mind.

Scripture does not say, “Be improved by attending.”
    It says:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2 (NIV)

The word transformed is the Greek metamorphoō—the same root used for metamorphosis. This is not behavior modification. This is total internal reformation.

A RENEWED MIND IS THE GATEWAY TO GOD’S WILL

Many believers ask: “What is God’s will for my life?”
But the verse already answers it.

You don’t discover God’s will by chasing it—
You discern it when your mind is renewed.

“…Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Until your thinking changes, even God’s will can look confusing, inconvenient, or even undesirable.

A renewed mind aligns your perception with heaven.
You begin to see correctly, and when you see correctly—you live correctly.

YOUR LIFE FOLLOWS YOUR THOUGHT LIFE

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” — Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)

Your life is not shaped by what you occasionally believe—
It is shaped by what you consistently think.

If your mind is filled with fear, you will live cautiously—even if God is calling you boldly.
If your mind is filled with lies, you will resist truth—even when it is preached clearly.

This is why strongholds exist—not in your environment, but in your mind.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal… pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4–5 (NKJV)

A stronghold is not just a demon—it is a pattern of thinking fortified against truth.

SALVATION CHANGES YOUR SPIRIT—BUT RENEWAL CHANGES YOUR LIFE

When you are born again, your spirit is made new instantly.

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

    But your mind?
It must be trained, washed, and renewed daily.

This is why many believers are saved—but still think like the world.
They have a new identity—but an old mindset.

And until the mind is renewed, the life will not reflect the new nature.

THE WORD OF GOD IS THE TOOL OF RENEWAL

“Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.” — John 17:17

Renewal does not come from positive thinking—it comes from biblical thinking.

The Word of God does not just inform you—it reprograms you.

Every time you meditate on Scripture, you are:

    Replacing lies with truth
    Rewiring your responses
Aligning your thoughts with God’s thoughts

“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You…” — Isaiah 26:3

Peace is not a feeling you chase.
It is the result of a mind fixed on God.

A RENEWED MIND PRODUCES A TRANSFORMED LIFE

    When your mind is renewed:

    Fear loses its grip
    Temptation loses its power
    Confusion gives way to clarity
    Weakness gives way to conviction

You stop reacting like your past…
And start responding like your new nature.

You no longer think like a slave—you think like a son.

    DECLARATION

I refuse to be shaped by the world.
My mind is being renewed by the Word of God.
I take every thought captive and align it with Christ.
I see clearly, I think rightly, and I live transformed.

    ONE TRUTH TO REMEMBER

A changed life is the visible evidence of a renewed mind.

    God is speaking—are you listening?
Comment “AMEN” if you are ready to renew your mind.

  • Heavenly Father, we come before You standing on the promise of Isaiah 10:27, believing that the burden shall be taken away from off our shoulders and the yoke from off our necks. We ask that You release Your divine power to shatter every chain of bondage, limitation, and oppression that has hindered our progress. Let Your Holy Spirit flow like a rushing river, for we know that the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. We declare total freedom over our lives, our families, and our futures, trusting that what You break remains broken, IN JESUS POWERFUL NAME.
