This total destruction of crops symbolizes the drying up of joy among the people, representing divine judgment and spiritual desolation in Israel. Their WITHERING symbolizes that God has withdrawn His protection and blessing due to disobedience, reflecting the spiritual barrenness of the people. SO LET US NOT BE DISOBEDIENT TO GOD AND FACE THE CURSE.
