- Someone asked me, how can an imperfect human stop sinning? The question is important and interesting as well because this is the question many thinkers get and it is the most asked questions among the intellectuals.
If you ask fundamentalists about the same question, they would definitely say fast and pray, cry and pray, pain your body to stop sinning etc etc. it goes on.
but is it possible to stop sinning? even if God helps us, it looks an impossible task. If God's help can stop us from sinning then why did the people of Israel kept going against Him even after seeing so many astounding miracles. how is that Adam and even who saw God eye to eye commited sin? does the presence of God help us to stop sinning?
but why should we stop sinning? what's the criteria we want to keep to stop sinning? is it because sin do not let us go to heaven? if that is the case what about a non believer who is good in life and doing everything better than someone who believes in God? Do his good deed outweigh his sins and make the path to heaven? If this is also not the criteria then what's the problem?Someone asked me, how can an imperfect human stop sinning? I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
