  • so I'll start my testimony off when it was 2013 I was seven, eight years old (difficult to remember) anyways 2013 my father passed away. It didn't really hit me until highschool which was 2016 and that's when I started going to inpatient hospitals because I was very depressed however before that I went to church I knew God existed it was like a second nature I guess, I remember one Christmas my mom let me watch the passion of the christ I think it was called I could be wrong. Since watching that it piqued my curiosity when I was younger I would always ask myself why would this man Jesus die for us? and then be resurrected three days later. through the years that question continued after being bullied, facing hardships even as I was still a child. then when I was a teenager I started going to a youth group. to find out more about Jesus and more about the Bible as well. that's where I started to see why he died for us and it made me realize that he didn't have to do that whatsoever but God loved us so he sent his one and only son to die for us. so in 2016 being in the hospital feeling the loss of my father hit really took me down a dark path. a path of hatred not only for my mother but for God too. I would scream in my head why did you take him from me there are still days when I ask God but I don't have hatred towards him no longer. and it's because when I was 20 I finally in a way understood that hardships shape is into who we become. however there was a period of my life where I let my heart get the better of me. I have a big heart and one that Lucifer took advantage of because I tried to see if there was any good in him I researched more and more about him then it led me to research more into different religions and etc. which kept me on this dark path where I ended up beginning witchcraft thinking that it's a natural way of the world. well before I knew it I started to feel more and more empty there'd be days where I wouldn't pray to God sometimes it's still like that but for other reasons. but for this it was mainly because I was to wrapped up with the world. and that is something that we Christians shouldn't be wrapped up in when it comes to the world it's a dark evil place but I looked for good in the darkest areas I've always tried to look good in people, in the natural way of things etc. but the emptiness feeling was getting to much. then there was a night where I broke. and well it was a night where I was drunk and besides being drunk I wasn't at least I think I wasn't being sinful instead I was honestly crying like a baby because I finally felt that the empty feeling I was experiencing it wasn't from God it was from Lucifer. it was from everything that I was diving into. also apart of it was personal issues as well that was going on during that time. that's when I asked God to be with me. I felt so ashamed and broken not only from diving into the occult but also from loss in my life, hardships etc and I didn't think God loved me I honestly thought he hated me but I was so wrong. This is just a summary of my testimony different things have happened to me in my life that well I'll probably share each month and share how God helped me get out of the situation. I've struggled, I continue to struggle but I know that God is love and I am forever grateful for what he has done in my life and in so many other lives as well. so when your in a dark place if your in a place where you don't like God try to see it as God building you up to make your faith stronger than ever before. I have this saying which is after every hardship we rise like Phoenix's of faith and compassion and forgiveness and grace. so yeah this is just part of my testimony this is just part of my life that I've been through. life is a journey it is cruel but it's who we decide to follow will we follow the light or will we follow the darkness. if you ask me I'll always follow the light in my life from now on no matter how dark it gets because God's light is eternal and forever. and he loves each and every one of us. so I hope you all have been having a good April and hopefully a good year even though things seem to be chaotic and everywhere remember that Jesus is coming back and he's coming back soon. Anyways thank you for taking time out of your day to read
