- Exactly 5 years ago this morning, between 6 and 6:30, my world went black. I suffered a full cardiac arrest due to multiple large blood clots in both lungs and in my right leg.
When I woke up in Christiana Hospital later that night, I had no idea how blessed I was and am to still be alive.
My life was changed for the better because of this. God gave me another chance to do what I am supposed to do, to be thankful and grateful for another day and to work on my relationships with my family, friends and church.
I remained in the hospital until March 16th.
Life is not promised. Death is imminent. Since my near death, God has blessed me beyond what I deserve, opportunities to preach more and even Bible College. I have been able to share my testimony of how God has restored me with others.
I still fail on a daily basis, yet God remains faithful and true! Philippians 1:6 is my life verse. "Being confident of this very thing, that HE who hath begun a good work in you, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
But God!!
