  • The work of discipleship also begins right here when we start living a Christ-like life, practicing His love, forgiveness, and humility.
When we love our enemies, forgive them, and live as true followers of Christ, it influences others. Our life becomes a testimony through which people can see Christ. This is the very foundation of making disciples—teaching through the way we live.

  • A Heartbreaking Incident of Religious Discrimination Against the Christian Community in Nepal

Recently, Amrita Maya Shrestha Upadhyay of Duwali, Ward No. 6, Western Municipality, passed away. Her family prepared for her burial according to her Christian faith and final wishes. However, some local residents strongly opposed the burial, refusing to allow it to take place in the public forest. Instead, they pressured the family to dispose of the body in a river, creating social tension and unrest.

Despite the efforts of some supportive community leaders to carry out the burial with dignity, intense opposition forced the family to bring the body back home.

This incident reveals the deep-rooted discrimination faced by the Christian community in Nepal and raises serious concerns about the state of religious freedom in the country.

Let us all unite in prayer for the Christian community in Nepal—
for peace, strength, and the protection of their religious rights.
