• What is on your heart? Lordsbook asks. . . . Well, people . . . . And whats coming. More and more as world events play out, I'm starting to think of others ( and that's quite big for me as I'm autistic and not really much of a people person ) and I'm starting to think of ways to approach people with the gosoel message . . . . But im at a complete loss as to how to do it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

  • Heavenly Father, We come before you on this Monday morning with grateful hearts for the blessings we received from your abundant grace during yesterday's Sunday service. Your presence was truly felt, and our hearts were filled with joy and peace as we gathered to worship you.

As we begin a new week, we ask for your guidance and protection. Help us to carry the lessons we learned from your word into our daily lives, so that we may be a reflection of your love and mercy. May the fire that was ignited within us yesterday continue to burn brightly as we face the challenges and opportunities of the week ahead.

Fill us with your wisdom, strength, and courage to overcome any obstacles that may come our way. May our faith be unwavering, and our hearts be filled with compassion and kindness towards others. Help us to be a blessing to those around us and to spread your love wherever we go.

We ask for your grace to sustain us and your peace to keep us grounded in your presence. Thank you for a refreshing Sunday service that has prepared us for the week ahead. We entrust this week into your loving hands, knowing that with you, all things are possible.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

  • The Lord said to Abram . . . “All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.”— Genesis 13:14-15

    Thought Of The Day...
As the elder family member, Abraham had the right to choose which land he would take for himself. But he surrendered that right and let his nephew Lot choose first. Setting his sights on greater things, Abraham trusted God to take care of him, no matter which part of the land he would receive.

In faith, Abraham turned the situation over to the Lord—not allowing his possessions to possess him. This freed him to enjoy God’s blessings without clinging to them or grasping for more. Abraham was able to hold on loosely to the things of this world.

And surprisingly, Abraham received more than he gave up. God promised him that one day all of the land he could see around him would belong to him and his descendants. From this we learn that God honors those who yield their rights and surrender their resources for his greater purposes.

Abraham’s choice points us to Jesus, who chose to give up his rights for a more glorious purpose. Philippians 2:6-9 explains that Jesus “did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,” but instead “emptied himself” for our sake. And in doing that, he received “the name that is above every name.” Be assured that God blesses all who entrust their future to him.

    Prayer...
Heavenly Father, We come to you with grateful hearts for your unfailing love and mercy. You have shown us your great love through sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins on the cross. Your word in Genesis 13:14-15 reminds us that you have promised to bless and multiply your people, just as you promised to Abraham. We are your descendants, chosen and loved by you, and we thank you for your abounding grace.

Lord, we pray for a heart like Abraham, one that trusts and obeys your every command. Help us to leave behind the things of this world and focus on your promises and plans for our lives. May we have the courage to step out in faith, knowing that you are with us every step of the way.

Guide us, O Lord, to be a reflection of your love and grace to those around us. May our lives point others to your great love for us and draw them closer to you. Give us opportunities to share the gospel and spread your kingdom here on earth.

Lord, we also pray for your provision and guidance as we journey through life. May we continually trust in your timing and plans, knowing that you have good things in store for us. We ask these things in Jesus name, Amen.

  • Heavenly Father, As the sun rises on this Thankful Thursday morning, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude. We thank you for your goodness and unending love that never fails. Your love has kept us through the night and has brought us to this new day.

Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness that never wavers, even when we are unfaithful. You are always there to guide us and lift us up when we stumble. We are grateful for your never-ending grace and mercy.

As we go through this day, may we not take you for granted, but continually give thanks for all that you do in our lives. Help us to see the beauty in each moment and to be thankful for every blessing, big or small.

We are reminded of the words in Psalms 118:1, "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever." May we always have hearts full of thanksgiving, knowing that your love endures forever.

In all things, may we give you thanks and praise, for you are the source of all that is good in our lives. We thank you, Lord, for this day and for every day to come. May our lives be for your Glory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
