I am in need of prayer. I have lost my way spiritually. I’ve just been wandering through life. I haven’t been to church since the pandemic. I hear God calling me but I don’t follow His leading. I guess I’m like Jonah in that sense.

The Lord has been faithful over the past few days in my part of Arkansas. I pray for others who were caught up in the devastating storms and floods. This morning was especially difficult as the storm ferociously moved over us. I prayed for protection and I heard a still small voice whispering, ‘Peace, be still for I am with you.’ The only damage we suffered was a small flood in my bedroom and a few leaks in the living room. The storm has passed and the rain is gentle.

Please keep the State of Arkansas in prayer this afternoon and evening as we are about to get hit with epic storms. My area of the state has been upgraded to an extreme high risk area. I don’t handle storms well as I suffer from PTSD which leads to severe anxiety and panic attacks. I’m putting my trust in the Lord but I’m still terrified. He tells me to be still and know that He is with me but the enemy is leading me to doubt. I strongly identify with Thomas who needed to see tangible evidence t.

I’m in need of prayer. I have become so indifferent to my spiritual life that it has turned to downright laziness. I used to be active in my church but I haven’t been back since the pandemic lockdown. I’m wanting to visit a new church here in Rison, where I live, but I always find an excuse for not going.. I hear the Lord calling me there but find it hard to pull myself out of my indifference to go. I know it’s the Enemy holding me back but I just can’t seem to break free.

I am in need of prayer for encouragement. I have fallen away from the church and I always find an excuse for not going. The pandemic made me lazy because our church was closed for over a year and interrupted my habit of going.
