- Word for the Day: Abide
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”, John 15:4
The word abide means to stay, remain, and be deeply connected. Just like a branch depends on the vine for life, we depend on God for strength, peace, and purpose. When you stay connected to Him through prayer, His Word, and obedience, your life begins to produce good fruit, like love, patience, and faith. Without that connection, it’s easy to feel empty or lost.
Today, ask yourself: Am I staying connected to God, or trying to do things on my own?Word for the Day: Abide “Abide in Me, and I in you.
