Can we manifest miracles of God.

I am on a spiritual journey to discover if it's truly possible in these modern times to genuinely manifest consistently the powers and the great works of God like our Lord Jesus said

If yes what does it take? How do we actually get to this place?

John 14:12:

"Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."

But we as modern day Christians largely are not living up to this prophecy.

My question then is... Why? And if.not we can?
